Falun Gong followers meditate behind a barrier during a protest outside Hong Kong's Legislative Council January 9, 2003. The spiritual movement which has been banned in mainland China is worried that the proposed anti-subversion law in the territory could seriously undermine the 'basic civil liberties that Hong Kong has traditionally enjoyed.'
