(Clearwisdom.net) Jiang Liguo was a 52-year-old male practitioner who obtained the Fa in 1997. He was tortured to death in No. 2 Detention Center in Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province on October 18, 2002.

In 2000, Jiang Liguo went to Beijing to appeal and validate Dafa. He was arrested at the Harbin Train Station and sent to the No. 2 Detention Center in Shuangcheng City. He was transferred to Xinxing Nursing Home seven days later, where he was brutally tortured for three days to the point where he could no longer walk under his own power. Later, the police released him because his son was injured in a car accident and had no one to take care of him.

On the evening of December 12, 2000, the police tricked Jiang Liguo and other local Dafa practitioners to the Xinxing Nursing Home, where a forced brainwashing class was being held. Jiang Liguo did not give in and the police brutally tortured him. They stripped him naked and forced him stand in front of an open window, where the piercing wind gushed in. He was then not given any covers and forced to sleep in the cold. Later, Jiang Liguo was released after urinating blood.

In November 2001, Jiang Liguo was turned in by his brother Jiang Lirong, who is the division secretary, for clarifying the truth of Falun Dafa. Jiang Liguo escaped after he learned the news, and he was forced to leave home and go from place to place for around 20 days. One day, he secretly returned home but was turned in by his brother again. This time he was arrested by the local authorities. During the time he was detained by the township government, the officials beat him with plastic tubes filled with sand to the point where his feet were too swollen to walk. However, he persisted in his faith and was forcibly sent to No. 2 Detention Center in Shuangcheng City. The police also ordered prisoners to beat Jiang Liguo and extorted money from him.

Jiang Liguo held a hunger strike to resist the persecution. The police force-fed him and severely injured his lungs in the process, causing him to cough up blood. Despite Jiang Liguo's condition, he was sentenced to two years of forced labor at Wanjia Forced Labor Camp. During a physical examination, Jiang was found to have tuberculosis and sent back to No. 2 Detention Center in Shuangcheng City. The detention center called the township government and requested someone to pick up Jiang Liguo, but his brother refused. So Jiang Liguo was tortured at the detention center for another three months. As a result of this torture, Jiang Liguo passed away on October 18, 2002 shortly after being released.
