My Thoughts on Reading "Returning To Heaven Is No Longer Just Yearned For" Written by a practitioner from Singapore
(Clearwisdom.net) The first time I read Teacher's new article "New
Year's Greetings from Master", the sentence "Returning to Heaven is no
longer just yearned for" made me feel quite relieved in my heart -- the
tribulations will soon end. Consummation and the Fa rectifying the human
world will no longer be something just yearned for. I felt delighted, as if
a hanging stone had reached the ground. However, the next time I read this article, my understanding was
completely different. I was suddenly enlightened: Isn't "Returning to Heaven
is no longer just yearned for" warning us that Consummation cannot be
yearned for? Isn't "yearning" a pursuit and attachment? Can one achieve
consummation with the attachment of "yearning"? Not only can one not achieve
consummation, but one will probably also hinder the Fa-rectification
process, thereby bringing loss to Dafa. Wasn't "the Sixteenth Congress" a
lesson? Upon realizing this, I can't help feeling guilty for having such an
attachment hiding deep within me. We should, "Get rid of any attachment you have, and don't think about
anything. Just do everything a Dafa disciple should do, and everything will
be covered."(Guiding the Voyage: Teaching the Fa at the Washington, D.C.
International Fa Conference) "Righteous thoughts and righteous actions"
should be our correct state. The above is just my shallow understandings. If there is anything wrong,
I'm grateful for you to bring it to my attention. Posting date: 1/14/2003 |
