Chicago Falun Dafa Practitioners: No Persecution Against Righteous Beliefs Will Ever Succeed (Photos)

Starting from 10 A.M. January 12, 2003 Falun Gong practitioners from Chicago and the mid-west gathered in front of the Chinese Consulate in Chicago to hold a three-day peaceful appeal, joining practitioners around the world to call upon the Chinese government to stop the torture and killing of Falun Gong practitioners in China immediately.

There have been 43 cases of Falun Gong practitioners being persecuted to death in China since November 2002. This is another heavy and bloody debt that Jiang's regime owes. What we can see now is that Jiang's regime has resorted to killing practitioners in an attempt to reach its aims. The international community must not tolerate these rampant killings. Falun Gong practitioners came to Chinese Consulate to appeal to China that the persecution must end immediately and to call on all kind people of the world to stand up and resist these crimes against humanity together.

Falun Gong practitioners set up banners, practiced the exercises and sent forth righteous thoughts. A press conference was held at 2 P.M. to expose the Jiang regime's evil crimes. Although Chicago is well known for its harsh, cold winds, Falun Gong practitioners strengthened their resolve to remain steadfast in the cold wind to show the world that Falun Dafa practitioners will never surrender to evil forces. Any persecution against righteous beliefs is doomed to fail.

The activity ended around 6 PM. The Falun Gong practitioners will continue the series of appeals and candlelight vigils in front of the Chinese Consulate on January 13 and 14.
