Toronto Practitioners Hold Press Conference to Expose the Jiang - Luo Regime's New Crimes (Photos)

From 9am, January 12, 2003, Toronto Falun Gong practitioners held a day long peaceful appeal in front of Chinese consulate general in Toronto to expose the new crimes Jiang and Luo's regime has committed against Falun Gong practitioners in the last two months. Since November 2002, individual reports of 43 practitioners of Falun Gong being beaten, tortured, and killed by authorities in China have been received. In response to escalating reports of death by persecution in China, practitioners and supporters of Falun Gong around the world will hold public activities during a three-day, worldwide appeal, calling for an end to the killing.

Reporters from Toronto's CTV, RFA, Epochtimes, NTD TV and other news agencies came to attend the press conference.

In the evening, Falun Gong practitioners held candlelight vigil to remember those who lost their lives. The activities will last until January 14.
