Police in Baimalong Forced Labor Camp, Hunan Province Torture and Kill Female Falun Dafa Practitioners

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a Female Falun Dafa Practitioner from Hunan Province. On the evening of January 16, 2001, the police arrested me and took me to a detention center. On February 21, 2001, they illegally sent me to Baimalong Forced Labor Camp. Here, I want to tell my experience from being detained for more than one year in order to expose the crimes of the authorities at the camp.

In what they called the "Discipline Team," the male officer dragged us out, and kicked, punched, shocked, and beat us while we were handcuffed, because we persisted in studying the Fa and doing the exercises. Female practitioner Zou Ruxiang could not walk steadily as a result of these beatings. However, we did not renounce our belief as a result of the repeated beatings and torture. The police then forced us to undergo sleep deprivation and forced standing upright overnight. Once, the police hung and beat a practitioner for a day. Her genitals became severely injured from the beatings she received on that area, and her body was full of blisters from the electric shocks, yet she was not moved to renounce her belief. The police brutally beat and shocked me with electric batons because I refused to wear a prisoner's uniform. We then went on a hunger strike to protest the torture. The police force-fed us using brutal means. Some practitioners lost their teeth during the force-feeding. One practitioner even died due to the force-feeding. Another practitioner was beaten to death by the prison officials. They sent female practitioners Yang Youyuan and Xia Ting to a mental institution although they were mentally healthy and forcefully injected them with neurological drugs against their will. Xia Ting, a college student, received the drugs for over a month, lost her memory, and could not walk steadily.

The police shackled several dozen practitioners who were detained by a second squad. The police instigated the inmates to persecute the practitioners who were sent there to do labor. They also locked the practitioners in isolation. They cuffed female practitioner Chen Chanmei with iron cuffs and shackles weighing over 10 lbs each, and locked her in solitary confinement for seven days. Although the torture lasted for a long time, determined Falun Gong practitioners did not give in to the torture.

Teacher said,

Those collaborators [former Falun Gong practitioners who have gone astray due to brainwashing and torture] did every bad thing that one could imagine. The collaborators did not allow the practitioners to study the Fa or to practice the exercises and punished them by taping their mouths shut with tape, stuffing sanitary napkins into their mouths, pulling their hair, and even tearing several practitioners' mouths severely. Some mothers (who had become collaborators) beat their daughters in order to force them to give up Falun Gong; and daughters (who had become collaborators) also beat their mothers. The situation became very complicated and terrifying. Actually, these collaborators were all victims themselves. They initially wanted to cultivate kindness and be good people. Yet the forced labor camp turned them into vicious people. When the practitioners did the exercises, these collaborators tied the practitioners' hands and feet overnight. Gan Jiejun from Changsha, Hunan Province tightened my clothes and pinched my neck so that my whole body became numb and breathing became difficult. They also swore at Dafa and Teacher, and prevented the practitioners from speaking or contacting each other.

Last New Year's Eve, I destroyed the second squad's television set which was being used to broadcast programs slandering and attacking Dafa. The police were stunned at that time and asked me why I did that. I said, "These are all lies. I shall not let them hide the truth and deceive the people of the world." That same night, the police locked six practitioners in my cell, including female practitioners Chen Ouxiang and Zou Ruxiang, and directed the criminal inmates to beat us.

Regardless, we always resisted the evil and we were not afraid.

There were several houses where practitioners were detained. We were not able discover their true situations. Until today, many practitioners are still being persecuted. The old forces' arrangements are really evil. We must break through them completely. Finally, I would like to share Teacher's words with my fellow practitioners:

Dafa disciples, away with your tears,

The demon Satan has completely collapsed.

Clarify the facts, send righteous thoughts,

Expose the lies, clean out the rotten ghouls.
