Righteous Thoughts Reveal Their Power -- My Experiences With Computers

With a sense of the responsibility and mission to save all sentient beings, we have established nearly ten small-sized Dafa material production sites within the past half-year. During this period, the strongest feeling I have is that Dafa has given me wisdom and great strength that comes with righteous thoughts. Here, I would like to share two stories about my experiences with computers.

Initial Installation of the Operating System

One night, practitioner Lao Wang brought me a second hand notebook computer without an operating system installed. I did not know at all how to install an operating system. I tried to put an installation disk into the computer, and could not understand why nothing worked. There was no one available to teach me at that moment. A practitioner can use mind-intent to overcome difficulties, so I started to send forth righteous thoughts facing the computer. My thoughts were very pure and concentrated. Afterwards, I tried again and I was able to begin the installation program. I followed the prompts step by step, and unexpectedly I installed the operating system successfully! It took me less than three hours.

Repeat Installation

Lao Wang brought another computer and asked me to install the operating system. This again perplexed me. Last time I completely depended on the power of righteous thoughts, and I could not explain how I actually did it. So I started to read the relevant books and tried some things, and it did not take me long to install the operating system. Because it was too smooth, I developed the attachment of zealotry, and when I turned on the computer, it did not work. I realized that cultivation does not allow even a bit of human distraction. I looked inwards and sent forth righteous thoughts. I tried again, but it still did not work. Although I was not anxious or emotionally stirred, I put it down temporarily. I continued to study the Fa and send forth righteous thoughts. I had a firm thought: I certainly can install it. Two days passed by, and I was finally able to install the operating system successfully.
