Masanjia Forced Labor Camp: Solitary Confinement Torture Caused Edema and Great Difficulty Walking

(Clearwisdom.net) I was just released from Masanjia Forced Labor Camp in Liaoning Province, where I was detained for practicing Falun Dafa. I have witnessed the persecution against practitioners in the labor camp.

There are six solitary confinement cells in the Zonghe Building at Mansanjia Labor Camp. Each cell contains an iron bench and is only large enough to fit one person. Practitioners who were confined to the cell had their arms and legs shackled together, and were forced to sit on the bench 24 hours a day. Practitioners were allowed to use the restroom only twice a day. There is no heat in the solitary confinement cells and it was extremely cold in the winter, yet the prison guards would not accept any extra clothing from the practitioners' families. Some practitioners were confined in the torture cell for over 10 days; some were confined longer than 30 days. The labor camp tried to use such torture to weaken the practitioners' resolve.

Dafa practitioner Wang Xueli detained in Group 2, Team 3, was confined for 10 days. He developed edema all over his body and had great difficulty walking; even now he has not fully recovered. The physical and mental torture has made many practitioners suffer mental collapse. Some even became comatose.
