More Information Surfaces in the Case of Practitioner Shi Hongjie, Tortured to Death by Police in Laixi City, Shandong Province


(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa practitioner Shi Hongjie was a 42-year-old man from Sunjia District of Wubei Village, Laixi City, Shandong Province. On the night of October 28, 2002, Shi's home was ransacked and he was abducted. He was detained in the Laixi City Police Department, where he was viciously beaten. On November 18, 2002, Shi Hongjie was tortured to death.

The sight of his body was horrifying: his entire body was covered with bruises and wounds; there were many grains of sand on his cheeks; his temples were bruised; his fingers were bruised; his feet were covered with blisters; and there was a long scar where his abdomen had been beaten. According to a legal medical expert's assessment, Shi Hongjie's ribs were also broken and his lungs had been punctured by the broken ribs.
