Western practitioners from Brisbane have started visiting King George Square
to clarify the truth to tourists from Mainland China.
Story one:
Practitioner A is a young lady. She made a T-shirt which bears the Chinese
characters "Falun Dafa Is Good" and "Truthfulness, Compassion and
Forbearance." She wears it whenever she demonstrates the five exercises. Thus,
all the tourists passing by can see it.
She also wrote the following words from her heart: "Millions of people from
over 60 countries practice Falun Gong, although it is banned in China. No
other country persecutes Falun Gong; on the contrary, they all respect
people's freedom of belief and their freedom to grow spiritually. The Jiang
regime has used every possible method to persecute Falun Gong, including
brutal torture, rape, long-term detention, sentencing to labor camps and
spreading lies all over the world. Today, I, as an Australian citizen, want to
tell you the truth about Falun Gong from the bottom of my heart. I hope that
you will not be deceived by the lies of the Jiang regime. I simply want you to
respect the great law of "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance" along with
all those people who value peace."
With a smile on her face, she also passes out truth-clarifying materials to
the tourists. Even though some of them are not polite, she never gets upset
but keeps a kind and benevolent mind. She reflects the demeanor of a Falun
Gong practitioner through her behavior.
Story two:
Practitioner B is a cosmetologist. She is light-hearted and optimistic.
Every time she joins the truth-clarifying activities, she asks Chinese
practitioners to teach her some simple Chinese. Now she can say "Falun Dafa is
Good", "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance are Good" and "Jiang Zemin
lies" in Chinese. She speaks those phrases to the Chinese tourists she meets.
Many tourists are affected by her enthusiasm and can't help talking with her
in simple English. The conversation is friendly and harmonious.
In order to be seen by the tourists taking morning flights, she often goes
to the square early to demonstrate the exercises. Many of those who have just
landed in Australia get out their cameras and take a picture of "An Australian
practicing Falun Gong." She jokes, "I will appear in many Chinese families'
albums."
Story three
Practitioner C is a young man. He goes to King George Square every weekend.
He meditates, practices the exercises, sends forth righteous thoughts and
passes out truth-clarifying materials. In addition, he also motivates other
practitioners to go with him. He joins every Falun Gong promotion activity. He
decreases his expenditures and saves money to buy stamps and envelops. He gave
these envelopes with stamps to Chinese practitioners so that he can contribute
in mailing materials to China.
Story four
Practitioner D is a new practitioner. He joins the weekend group exercises
and activities. With the help of veteran practitioners, he quickly began
participating in activities that promote Falun Gong and clarifying the truth.
Sometimes, he goes to the King George Square alone and demonstrates the
exercises all morning long. He wears a yellow T-shirt that says, "Falun Dafa
Is Good" and "Stop the Persecution" on it and puts the truth-clarifying
materials nearby for people to take. It's summer time in Brisbane and the sun
is very hot, but he is not bothered at all and keeps meditating and sending
forth righteous thoughts without moving. His sincerity and forbearance touch
the hearts of many Chinese tourists.
The effects are more powerful when western practitioners directly
participate in truth clarifying activities to the Chinese tourists. Although
language is a barrier, Chinese tourists can clearly see that Falun Dafa has
spread all over the world when they see westerners practicing Falun Gong. They
can't help being shaken. This greatly exposes the evil and breaks down the
lies spread by the Jiang regime.
