Falun Gong practitioner, Mr. Liu Erzeng, from Pingshan County, Hebei
Province, was tortured to death at the Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp in
August 2002.

Liu Erzeng, male, of the Han
nationality, was from Zhongbailou Village, Chengguan Town, Pingshan County,
Hebei Province.
Born on November 26, 1962.
1970 - 1976: Elementary school in
Zhongbailou Village
1976 - 1979: Mengxianbi
middle-school
1979 -- 1981: Mengxianbi
high-school
1981 -- 2000: Doing farm work at
home
February 2000, Mr. Liu went to
Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong and was illegally detained.
June 2001: Mr. Liu was abducted by
policemen and detained in Pingshan County Detention Center and later sentenced
to three years in a forced labor camp.
August 2001: Mr. Liu was sent to
Shijiazhuang Forced-Labor Camp.
August 2002: Mr. Liu was tortured
to death.
