Three Short Stories of Female Practitioner Zhang Li's Righteous Actions

Falun Dafa practitioner Zhang Li, female, was a resident of Anshan City, Liaoning Province. Having great compassion, she was always very kind and considerate, and thought of others before herself. In early 2002, police broke into her home and kidnapped her. She was viciously tortured for more than five months. On many occasions, she was brutally beaten until she lost consciousness. On August 27, 2002, she was tortured to death. The following are three short stories of her righteous actions in validating Dafa and saving sentient beings.

On one occasion, police arrested Zhang Li while she was transporting truth-clarifying materials. She was detained in a room on the third floor of a police station. She thought, "I cannot allow the evil to persecute me. Since Teacher is taking care of me, I know I can walk out of here openly and with dignity." At around 2:00 a.m., Zhang thought that she should have the guards fall asleep, and they did so. She then walked down the stairs. There were four or five people playing Mah Jong [a traditional Chinese game played by four people] next to the entrance of the police station. Zhang thought, "I am not afraid of anything." As a result, no one saw her, and she walked out of the police station with no problems.

A gallery was going to display drawings that slandered Falun Dafa and Teacher. After Zhang learned about the exhibition, she and more than a dozen practitioners went to the gallery to send forth righteous thoughts. As a result, the exhibition could not open due to a power outage. At night, many practitioners covered a neighboring hillside with Falun Dafa banners. They also distributed truth-clarifying materials around the gallery. Thus, the exhibition was stopped before it opened.

(3) Using Loudspeakers to Clarify the Truth

One day in May, Zhang and several Falun Dafa practitioners place loudspeakers on the rooftops of buildings surrounding a morning market to broadcast a Falun Dafa radio show early in the morning. Kind people spread the news, and many people were heard saying, "Falun Gong is so amazing!" For a while, no one dared to remove the loudspeakers, and the broadcast went on for approximately an hour.
