On Christmas Eve, December 24, 2002, there were thousands of people in the streets to celebrate the holiday. A few Dafa disciples carrying backpacks filled with truth clarifying CDs joined the Christmas crowds. The Dafa disciples wanted to take advantage of this great opportunity to fulfill their historic promise of helping Teacher save sentient beings, letting more people learn the truth about Falun Dafa and therefore be saved.
After some practicing and experimenting, the practitioners finally found the appropriate ways to give out the CDs. By encouraging each other, the practitioners were able to give out the CDs to people openly. They quickly gave out all the truth clarifying CDs in the downtown area, right under the eyes of police, in front of supermarkets with large throngs of holiday shoppers, etc.
This was a bold Fa-rectification effort. It was a breakthrough in using practitioner's righteous thoughts and actions. It was also a learning process for Dafa practitioners in improving cultivation within the Fa. Afterwards, the practitioners had a deeper understanding of Teacher's words, "...The old forces don't dare to oppose our clarifying the truth or saving sentient beings. What's key is to not let them take advantage of the gaps in your state of mind when you do things" (Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Boston.)
