A Story of a Police Officer Obtaining the Fa

(Clearwisdom.net) One time I went to Beijing to validate Dafa. Halfway there, I was captured and sent back by the police. My heart I was very calm at that time. I clarified the truth to them. Master said,

"When we clarify the truth to save them, we need to tailor it to the mindsets modern people have. This is because the extent to which today's people believe in Gods is very limited; the minimal level of morality acceptable to them is also very low..." (Fa-Lecture at the Conference in Florida, U.S.A.)

I talked about the changes I experienced in my body after practicing the exercises. I also talked about how to be a good person. One policeman asked me what the staged "Self-immolation Incident" was about. I said that it was a frame-up, "because in lecture seven of Zhuan Falun, Master had told us that it is a sin to kill. Suicide is a great sin. Would a person who is a true cultivator of Falun Dafa commit suicide?"

They all listened to what I was saying. Later, a policeman wanted me to write a "guarantee statement" [A statement to declare that he or she is remorseful for practicing Falun Gong and guarantees not to practice Falun Gong again, not to go to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, and never again associate with any Falun Dafa practitioners] and said that it would be difficult for him to answer to his superiors if I don't write it. I said, "I have made you understand. How could you still think of asking me to write the guarantee statement?" He saw that I really would not write it and said he would seek the advice of his superiors. In a short while he came back and asked me, "How do you do the exercises?" At that time, I was very surprised. I said that there were four sets of standing exercises and a sitting meditation. He then told me, "You can go home!"

One day I met him in the streets. While chatting, he told me that he was suffering from an illness. I invited him to my house in the afternoon. When he came he learned the exercises very earnestly. I gave him the book Zhuan Falun. He asked me which way was better for achieving results - reading the book or doing the exercises? I told him that he had to read the book and also do the exercises. He had to first understand the principles of Falun Dafa. I told him that he had to read every day and do the exercises every day. On the third day he came again. He told me that it was really effective. He said that he used to be unable to sleep at night. After practicing for two days, he slept very well for these two days. He said that his illness was gone.
