Elderly Practitioner Suffers Mental Collapse in Brainwashing Center Due to Harassment from "610 Office" Personnel

(Clearwisdom.net) On Nov. 28, 2002, the "610 Office" [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] of Huangshi, Hubei Province set up a brainwashing center at the Police Academy. Eighteen practitioners from Huangshi City, Xialu, Tieshan, Yangxin County and Daye City were arrested and sent there. During one session, the members of the "610" office disguised themselves to deceive practitioners, and allowed collaborators [former Falun Gong practitioners who have gone astray due to brainwashing and torture] to take turns harassing and deceiving practitioners.

Guo Quansheng is a 60-year-old male practitioner from Yangxin County. Because he resisted the brainwashing, he was persecuted even more severely than others. Under the great pressure, this elderly practitioner became distracted and began speaking incoherently. Fearing to take responsibility, the "610 Office" told his daughter to take him away. She took him to her home, where, in his delirium, he jumped from the building. He suffered a broken front tooth and injured both legs in the fall. The "610 Office" threatened his daughter with arrest if she disclosed the information.
