By a Dafa Practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom.net) I obtained the Fa in March 1998. All my diseases disappeared after I began practicing Falun Gong.

I am a housewife and therefore I cultivate myself in my family environment and look within whenever there is a conflict. In the past, I did not get along with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law. Whenever I saw my mother-in-law, I would feel angry. After upgrading my xinxing (heart/mind nature, moral quality), I started to respect her and became very close to her. Once, I had a disagreement with my husband and he hit me. I realized that there were places I was at fault also, so I corrected myself. After that incident, my husband realized that Dafa is really good. Many facts like these made the people around me experience the mightiness of Dafa. They all understand me, and there is not a single person in my family who has interfered with my practice of Dafa. On April 25 and July 20 of 1999, I went to Beijing to appeal, and no one really said anything. My sister's child even asked my brother-in-law to drive me to the train station.

In the past three years, since Jiang's regime started to persecute Falun Gong in 1999, my husband has given me a great deal of support. He said, "I don't know how to read, but I understand what is right and wrong; I understand in my heart." He accompanied me to give out and transport truth-clarification materials. He had no complaints. He even said, "Any practitioner who loses his home can come to live here." Later, I was kidnapped and taken to a brainwashing class, and he went there to visit me. The police officer in the brainwashing class asked him what benefit one could get from practicing Falun Gong. He said, "Lots of benefits; the family has become more peaceful, no more arguments, no more anger. Practicing this is just good." Because of his righteousness, Dafa has given him great fortune. He has not really gotten sick in four years; his kidney stone was cured without any treatment; sometimes when he was not feeling well, I read the book to him and he would feel fine.

Last October 1^st (China's National Day), there was a lot of pressure [from police]. The practitioners who stayed with us and I left my home for a while. Quite a few relatives helped to move the equipment used for producing Dafa materials to a safe place. Five of my six sisters have Dafa books and they all understand us. My elder sister was so interested in reading the book Zhuan Falun, that she could not put it down, and she wanted to learn the exercises too. She was very nervous and had sleeping problems before, but after reading the book, she was able to sleep very well every day. Dafa practitioners who lost their homes are now living in her home. She does all she can to protect Dafa practitioners. Dafa practitioners have also lived in the home of a few other relatives of mine. These relatives have made contributions during the persecution of Dafa.

My brother also understands us. He has also read the book Zhuan Falun and watched Teacher's lectures on video tape. One day his roof collapsed and he fell from a place that was two-stories high, but nothing serious happened to him. My mother said, "That was a marginal benefit of Falun Gong, even though he only took a brief look [at the book], but don't under estimate it." My mother also started to learn Dafa.

My children have also read the Dafa books. My elder daughter asked her boyfriend to read Zhuan Falun. Actually, her boyfriend often read truth clarification materials. Once I saw him write on a piece of paper, "Falun Dafa is good! Salute to Dafa practitioners!"

Dafa has changed me and enabled people near me to help and support me, support Dafa practitioners, and support Dafa; and they are gradually starting the cultivation of Dafa. This is the mightiness of Falun Dafa.
