My Fa-Rectification Path -- Unconditionally Released Five Times After Being Kidnapped by Police

(Clearwisdom.net) Master said in "Dafa Disciples' Righteous Thoughts are Powerful," "No matter what the situation, do not cooperate with the evil's demands, orders, or what it instigates. If everyone does this, the environment won't be this way." This section of Master's Fa was what helped me to defeat the evil. I was unconditionally released after the evil kidnapped me several times and then nobly walked out of the demons' den. Time and again through my personal experiences, I sincerely felt Master's compassion and the power of Dafa! I cannot adequately describe the many miracles of Dafa that I have experienced. What is stated here is only for fellow practitioners' reference.

The first time I was kidnapped was on October 29, 1999 when I went to appeal in Beijing. After being illegally detained for nearly one year at a local detention center, I finally decided not to eat the food they provided for prisoners. After 12 days of a hunger strike, not even taking liquids, I was unconditionally released on October 2, 2000.

The second time was on May 13, 2000 when I was kidnapped by persons from the county "610 Office" [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political or judicial systems] and sent to a brainwashing center. According to the vicious police, Dafa practitioners were arrested nation-wide and forcibly sent to brainwashing centers on that day. During those days I had the opportunity to read Master's new article "Dafa Disciples' Righteous Thoughts are Powerful." Master said, "No matter what the situation, do not cooperate with the evil's demands, orders, or what it instigates. If everyone does this, the environment won't be this way."

So, besides clarifying the truth and spreading Falun Dafa, I did not cooperate with the evil at all. I refused to answer any of their questions and did not obey any of their orders. Three or four hoodlums beat me in turn, for about half an hour. My body was black and blue all over. Their hands became numb from beating me, yet they still could not make me give in. Two days later, because the vicious police were afraid that the other Dafa practitioners would follow my example, they sent some of us to another place. In the police car we shouted, "Falun Dafa is the righteous Fa!" "Falun Dafa is good!" "Kind people: the self-immolation incident shown on TV was fabricated! Don't believe it! The principles of heaven dictate that both good and evil deeds will be met with their subsequent retribution!" We went on a hunger strike for nine days, and on June 22, three of us were released. Master said in "Eliminate Your Last Attachment(s)," "If a cultivator can let go of the thought of life and death under any circumstance, evil is sure to be afraid of him. If every student is able to do this, the evil will of itself no longer exist."

The fourth time was on August 9, 2001 when Baoding City police officers kidnapped me. They later sent me to the City Police No. 3 Division for cruel torture. These people exerted all kinds of vicious methods to extort a confession from me -- taking turns to slap my face, cuffing my hands, burning me with lit cigarettes, and beating me with leather whips and other items. Other than clarifying the truth to save sentient beings, I remained silent. Two days later I was sent to the Baoding Detention Center. That afternoon I validated the Fa in the yard with other fellow practitioners. We shouted, "Falun Dafa is the righteous Fa!" "Falun Dafa is good!" "We are not criminals! Stop the slander of our Teacher!" We shouted for at least 20 minutes. Thereafter, I was put into shackles and pushed into a big iron cage. After 17 days on a hunger strike, they complied with my demand and gave me back a copy of the main book of Falun Gong, Zhuan Falun.

I had a very clear mind because Master's Fa guided me. So no matter where I went, I refused to cooperate with the evil. Furthermore, I exposed the evil, clarified the truth and saved sentient beings. I also understood that both good and evil should be considered with a benevolent attitude; only in this way can we obtain true compassion. I had an opportunity to exchange understandings of Master's Fa with other practitioners. In succession, we wrote down our incidents of being arrested and beaten. We also composed Fa-spreading letters and letters of appeal. The recipients of these materials included our work units up to the county level, the province and the central government. All letters were handed to the director of the detention center.

During the hunger strike, the Baoding City Police Department sent people to investigate us. I told them, "Falun Dafa is the righteous Fa. What we cultivate is Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. We are kind people, not criminals. We have to be set free from this illegal detention." None of us cooperated with evil at all. We patiently clarified the truth to the inmates, told them that Dafa and our Master were being treated unjustly, and let them know that we were not criminals.

Gradually, the inmates became more aware of the truth. One day a cell head suddenly asked us to demonstrate the Falun Gong exercises. The environment of each cell was getting better and better. In the end, four of the female cells went on a hunger strike together. Eighteen days later I was released unconditionally. It was just like what Master had said, "Yet, an ordinary person cannot understand it. If you see this principle from the high dimension, everything will be different. Among ordinary people, you may believe that a principle is correct. But it is not really correct. It is correct only if it is seen to be so in the higher dimensions. It often happens this way" (Zhuan Falun).

The fifth time was at noon on October 19, 2002 when persons from the local "610 Office" kidnapped me again, right before the Party's 16^th Congress. I was sent on my own expense to the Baoding "Education and Reform Center" to have people intensify the persecution against me. This time I arrived at the most evil place. There was a big classroom used specifically for spreading lies and playing videos that slander Master.

I was taken to a room to have a talk with a guard. I spread the Fa, clarified the truth, and told him that I would never accept their brainwashing; that I would never cooperate with them. From then on they cuffed my hands to a bed and never tried to brainwash me again. Everyday I held my palm erect to eliminate the evil. Master guides us to expose the evil, clarify the truth and save sentient beings. I wasted no time in exchanging my understandings with the fellow practitioners there. I felt that since we were there, we should rectify the Fa. If all of us refused to enter the room used for slandering Master and refused to listen to a word they say, who else could the evil slander? What chances would they have if we didn't provide them an audience? Many fellow practitioners felt that it was the right thing to do. From then on, seven to eight practitioners refused to enter that room, and some also went on a hunger strike. I was released again on the 18^th day of the hunger strike. This detention time was rather unusual because the thugs did not beat me at all. It was exactly as Master had said, "For example, after some Dafa disciples are arrested, they are able to maintain an unshakable calm, and they have no fear. You'll see that the old forces don't dare to persecute them." (Touring North America to Teach the Fa, March 2002)

1). I felt that we must assimilate to the Fa, discuss and share experiences, strive forward together, and completely deny all the evil arrangements of the old forces.

2). We must exert the power as a one body, eliminate all evil and help fellow practitioners to break out of the evils' den.

3). We should at all times search inward. Why is the evil persecuting me?

Master said in the "Fa-Lecture at the Conference in Florida, U.S.A.," "Let me tell you, all those who remain and that can persecute Dafa and Dafa disciples are due to our students themselves. Students who haven't taken sending forth righteous thoughts seriously - the evil in the dimensions that you are supposed to shoulder and be responsible for has not been eliminated. That's the cause."

When I was arrested for the fifth time I understood what Master said in "Teaching the Fa at the Washington D.C. Fa Conference," "Don't take a detour when you run into difficulties. When you see something that does us harm, or when you see something blocking our validating the Fa, don't take a detour - you should face it, and clarify the truth and save those beings." Then I realized that when coming face-to-face with the evil again, I should not run away and should openly and uprightly clarify the truth to save sentient beings. However, I neglected that I still had a hidden thought that I would go with them if I got arrested. Inadvertently, I acknowledged the arrangement of the evil; and when my righteous thoughts were not strong enough, the evil took advantage of my loophole and I was taken away.

4). Rectify the Fa wherever we go. This is our historical mission.

Since the evil had already taken advantage of our loopholes, do not be afraid of where it might take us. We have to clarify the truth to all people and save sentient beings while being resolute and not cooperating with the evil at any rate. In addition, we should help fellow practitioners who are passively enduring this persecution and strengthen our righteous thoughts as a whole to break through the evils' arrangements.

My numerous experiences led me to realize that nothing could shake the foundation of Fa-rectification. Especially during the hunger strike, one must truly abandon the thought of life and death and relinquish all attachments, otherwise one could not pass this tribulation and in the end, one can only yield to the evil.

Master is truly compassionate and magnificent, and is constantly taking care of us. It is not that our tribulations are endless, nor is it we need so much time to pass our tests. These things happened because we didn't follow or were afraid to do what Master had told us. It was because we didn't truly abandon our sense of self, and thus could not truly believe in the Fa and Master firmly in the critical time. Master said in Zhuan Falun, "When you are overcoming a real hardship or tribulation, you try it. When it is difficult to endure, try to endure it. When it looks impossible and is said to be impossible, give it a try and see if it is possible. If you can actually do it, you will indeed find: "After passing the shady willow trees, there will be bright flowers and another village ahead!""
