Collaborators Beat and Deceive Falun Dafa Practitioners at the Brainwashing Center in Zhifu District, Yantai, Shandong Province

The brainwashing center in Zhifu District of Yantai, Shandong Province is located on the west side of the third floor in the Xingfu Town Courthouse. An iron fence has been installed in the hallway to keep practitioners in. Every window is covered with a wire mesh. During the 16^th Party Congress, about forty or fifty Falun Dafa practitioners were arrested and crammed into the four or five small rooms of this center.

For the past eight months since April 25, when the center was established, the "610 Office" [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] has kept arresting practitioners and left them subject to arbitrary persecution by collaborators [Former Falun Gong practitioners who have gone astray due to brainwashing and torture], Wang Guihong, Gao Yinghua, Chi Zhengfang, Song Yulan, as well as others.

Every Falun Dafa practitioner was confined in a small room and "helped" by some collaborators and those who had written "guarantee statements" [a statement to declare that he or she is remorseful for practicing Falun Gong and guarantees not to practice Falun Gong again, not to go to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, and never again associate with any Falun Dafa practitioners]. Their deafening howls were filled with vulgar words slandering Dafa. Those practitioners who had refused to write any "guarantee statement" were prohibited from going to the restroom, from sleeping, or from leaving the room until they had written the statement, regardless of how many days it took. If one didn't renounce his belief, he would be forced to sit on a stool and hold a specific posture for a long period of time. If he still wouldn't renounce his belief, they would resort to violence. With hands cuffed or tied together, a practitioner would be hit, kicked, slapped, or even hit on the head with wooden sticks that were approximately two-inches thick. Some Falun Dafa practitioners' faces turned black in the region below their eyes because of heavy bruises from being hit on the head. They were prohibited from seeing their families during visiting time because the evil collaborators were afraid that their violence would be exposed.

In addition to the violence, these thugs cursed and slandered Dafa and Master Li with malicious words, and took advantage of Dafa practitioners with despicable lies. The profane language that Song Yulan (one of the collaborators) used can't even be repeated so as to not pollute our readers' minds. Besides all the lies, they also repeatedly played the videotapes about four collaborators in Beijing and the situation in Shandong Province produced under the direction of the Department of Justice. All practitioners were kept in the center for one to three months. Most of them were arrested by the police with the help of the collaborators, whose kind human nature has been destroyed by brainwashing.

The brainwashing materials were full of nonsense. Besides the complete package of lies used in the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp, a two-to-three-page-long document was widely circulated among the collaborators. It was a bunch of irrational nonsense without any title, signature, date, beginning or conclusion. Collaborators gave it to Dafa practitioners secretly and told practitioners not to tell anyone in the "610 Office". They intentionally created a sense of mystery to entice Dafa practitioners. As a matter of fact, this document was copied by a policewoman in the "610 Office" and was furtively passed on to collaborator Wang Guihong. But a practitioner happened to see what they did. Obviously, the evil forces have used up all their tricks in trying to convert Falun Dafa practitioners who follow "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance".

It was said that the resources of the brainwashing center in Zhifu District have been exhausted since it was established on April 25. No money can be allocated from the city government. The 16^th Party Congress has ended. The center was supposed to be closed, but Wang Guihong and some other collaborators insisted on keeping it open. The Falun Dafa practitioners who happen to read this news, please send forth your righteous thoughts to help stop the persecution.

Fellow practitioners in Yantai, let's keep our minds clear and try our best to do the three things that Teacher told us to do, study the Fa, send forth righteous thoughts every day, and tell people the facts about Dafa. Let's improve ourselves while eliminating the rotten ghouls in Yantai that damage the Fa in other dimensions. We ought to welcome the great moment when the Fa rectifies the human world with a state befitting that of a Dafa practitioner.
