Resisting Deceitful Brainwashing Class Tricks with Righteous Thoughts

(Clearwisdom.net) I was illegally kidnapped to a brainwashing center and experienced all kinds of abuse by the evil there. The following is a brief summary of what I experienced.

As soon as I was imprisoned in the brainwashing class, three "education aides" locked me up in a room. They forced me to sit on a small stool and watch videos that slandered Dafa and Teacher. They bombarded me with an endless stream of slogans and propaganda. Though I tried very hard to clarify the truth about Dafa to them, they simply did not listen. As a result, I stopped paying any attention to them and kept reciting "Lun Yu" (the foreword to the main text of Falun Gong, Zhuan Falun) and Teacher's lectures to myself.

While reciting Teacher's lectures, my celestial eye saw that in one of the other dimensions black substances unceasingly attacked and surrounded me. When I concentrated all my attention to recite the Fa, I saw that every word glistened with a golden light, driving back the black substances and causing them to dissipate. And yet, as soon as my main consciousness slightly relaxed, the black substances entered my space and time field again, causing me to feel flustered and anxious. I strengthened my main consciousness, diligently recited the Fa and sent forth righteous thoughts. I felt my own energy field becoming stronger and stronger, and it gradually formed a solid wall. Those demonic forces were unable to sneak in again. Their nonsense had no effect on me whatsoever.

Later, they sent in two people that appeared to be kind-hearted to discuss the Fa principles with me. They misrepresented words from Zhuan Falun and said, "To put you in here is to help you enhance your xinxing and increase your Gong (super natural capability). It was arranged by Teacher." I said, "This is nothing but persecution, something that Teacher and disciples do not accept at all." I told them to apologize and send me home. Teacher's Fa is the most dignified and sacred, and the Fa is treasured above all by practitioners. They quoted Dafa out of context in order to find parts that I did not sufficiently believe in, to confuse my main consciousness and to mislead me. Seeing through this, I felt that discussing the Fa with them was disrespectful and insulting the Fa. We Dafa disciples should show compassion to them and clarified truth to them, but we should by no means allow them to desecrate the Fa or persecute Dafa. No matter what they said, I did not say anything in reply. I concentrated on sending forth righteous thoughts and reciting Teacher's lectures. I remembered what Teacher said in "Eliminate Your Last Attachment(s)," "Although they have found several dozen deceivers--dregs of humanity--to put on this disgraceful act, just by having your heart unaffected you will be able to handle all situations." (Essential for Further Advancement II)

Every day for about five to six hours they forced Dafa disciples to watch videos that slandered Dafa. The rest of the time two "education aids" spent their efforts to brainwash one practitioner. One "education aid" asked me, "Would you rather refuse to renounce your belief and be directly sent to a labor camp, or be transformed and go home?" I told them, "What you say counts for nothing. I will still practice even if you point a gun at my head. However, I will go home. I am walking on the right path, and nobody can dissuade me from it." Then, they pretended to be serious and enumerated several practitioners who were sentenced to prison. I said, "Didn't you tell me that there was not any who was not transformed before? How come there was someone sentenced to prison for not being transformed?"

I met some who practiced Dafa before, but now insulted Teacher and Dafa, and claiming what they'd done in the past out of righteousness was actually wrong. They first repeated evil sayings, such as they had violated the law, they had not acted as good citizens, and they had brought trouble to the country. Actually, the Jiang regime's persecution against Dafa is a violation of the Constitution. Those persecutors had never followed the law at all in their treatment of us. The Constitution protects citizens' freedom of belief and freedom of speech, but the dictator trampled the Constitution by passing these so-called regulations to persecute Dafa disciples.

There are usually three reasons why these former practitioners took the wrong path. First, they did not study the Fa diligently and did not steadfastly believe in Dafa. Second, they could not put aside their attachments and were deceived by superficial appearances. Third, they were scared of the evil persecution. When they spoke, I gathered all my strength to send forth righteous thoughts. When it was my turn to speak, I would use my righteous thoughts to guide them, sing songs written by Dafa disciples for them, and tell them that evil can never overcome the righteous.

Seeing that the deceivers failed to delude me, an "education aid" forcefully pinched my thighs and waist. I solemnly said, "Please, have some self-respect! If you persecute me, I will expose you on the Internet. When we are exonerated, you will not be able to escape legal punishment." He then stopped with embarrassment. Another person asked, "Is your teacher really that important in your heart to let you ignore your family?" I replied, "Teacher gave me a new life. He taught me the principles of 'Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance' to become a person with high morality and a purified soul. I believe in Teacher. It was you who illegally detained me here and broke up my happy family. Now you are turning around and say that I do not want my family. What kind of reasoning is that!" They asked, "Who do you usually obey? What if we have your father ask you to stop practicing or have your whole family kneel before you?" I knew they were going to coerce my family to do such things, so I told him, "Nothing can shake my determination." Actually my family already knew the truth in their hearts, and later on I found out that none of my family members had cooperated with them.

Later, two other people came in. When I clarified the truth to them, they agreed with me and even expressed their discontent toward Jiang. They were considerate of me in every way and even bought me some fruit. If I did not eat any, they would say that I did not treat them as friends. I was almost misled by their fake "sincerity." As it turned out, whenever my heart was moved, some evil beings that looked exactly like them would come into my dimension, making me anxious and restless. Then I realized that those professional brainwashers were not here to listen to me clarify the truth. They were here to get what they wanted. Demons can transform themselves into different appearances to try to shake my belief in Teacher and Dafa, so I had to remain alert at all times.

As expected, their true nature was revealed after a few days. They begged me to pretend that I was brainwashed and later continue practicing Falun Gong at home. When I refused, they said, "Or you can just write a statement saying that you will not violate the law." I said, "If all your thoughtfulness toward me is for the purpose of making me write a statement that go against my beliefs, I advise you to give up!" They replied, "You have no conscience. You ate our food and now refuse to do us a small favor." I laughed aloud, "You think that a few pieces of fruit will make me give up my belief? Then you really don't know Dafa disciples." Their retort was, "You are afraid of being brainwashed. Fear is also a kind of attachment. If you do not let go of the attachment of fear, how will you reach consummation? You have to judge your Teacher from a dialectical perspective." I replied, "I believe firmly in Teacher and Dafa. My life is assimilated to 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance'. Your twisted logic and false statements can only fool a three-year-old." Their reply was, "After watching those videos everyday, I can't believe none of them affected you." I said, "All of the videos were made up of poor acting and repeated, shameless lies. They are like a pile of trash. Will I be moved by trash?"

No one came to harass me in the following two weeks because they said I was too stubborn. The "education aid" was very frightened whenever I send forth righteous thoughts. He would always turn up the volume on the television or try to talk to me. I ignored him, so he asked, "Are you sending forth righteous thoughts to curse people again?" I said, "I didn't curse anybody. I just said 'the Fa rectifies the cosmos, the Evil is completely eliminated'. Only the evil would be scared. Good people will not be eliminated." No matter what kind of measures they took to interfere with me, I remained resolute and recited the Fa. Finally he said, "Too bad I cannot get into your mind to see what you are thinking."

Towards the end of this brainwashing session they held a meeting to slander Dafa. At the meeting, many steadfast Dafa disciples took the microphone and began revealing how the brainwashing class violated human rights, and they all expressed their willingness to follow Teacher closely and to cultivate Dafa steadfastly. The head of the brainwashing class slandered Teacher and Dafa during that meeting, and many Dafa disciples protested. The meeting thus ended hastily.

Before I left, an "education aid" who learned the truth about Dafa through my clarification told me, "You Dafa practitioners all have your own opinions and refuse to be lead by us. I really look down on those who easily wavered under our persuasion." The evil has many other tricks but I could not list them all here.

After I had gone through the brainwashing class, I better understood the importance of studying the Fa and why Teacher emphasizes it so much. As Teacher said, "The Fa can break all attachments. The Fa can destroy all evil. The Fa can shatter all lies, and the Fa can strengthen righteous thoughts." ("Drive Out Interference" Essential for Further Advancement II)
