Letter to Police: I Hope You Find Your Conscience

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa has permitted us to have a predestined relationship and know each other. I think we should open our minds and treat each other with sincerity; I now want to speak to you from my heart.

Searching back and forth for decades, waiting for thousands, even tens of thousands of years, I have been fortunate to obtain the Fa of the universe, something unobtainable in tens of thousands of years. I deeply feel that in this world, I am a genuinely happy person. During 6 years of cultivation, implementation and improvement, under the teaching of our respectable Teacher, I have come to understand the real meaning of life and how to be a human being. I have also learned how to be a good person in any environment, and to strive to be an even better person. I know that no matter what conflict I have with someone, I need to first find out what I have done wrong. I know that no matter what I do and what I say, I need to think about others and consider if others are able to accept it. No matter what I do, I should follow the characteristics of the universe "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance," and always use that as the standard to evaluate everything and eventually attain the righteous enlightenment of selflessness and altruism.

It has been 10 years since 1992 when our Teacher first introduced Falun Dafa to the world. The spread of Falun Dafa is a proud thing for the Chinese people, and there are now people from over 60 countries in the world practicing Falun Dafa. Falun Dafa has multiple benefits without any negative aspects. All kind people in the world should have the chance to obtain Falun Dafa, a cultivation practice of mind and body. Through cultivation, practitioners not only gain healthy bodies, but their mind-natures will also improve.

In the current world,

"Worldly humans no longer have their benevolent thoughts. With human mind out of control, demon nature emerges, Natural calamities and man-made disasters cause sorrows and resentment. Everyone is the enemy of everyone else, Everything is hard to go the way one wishes." (from "Demonic Change" in Hong Yin, unofficial draft translation).

In telling the truth, one may have to pay the price. Why do we dare to take the risk of being arrested, put in labor camps, sent to jail, or even killed, in order to print flyers clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa? A single sentence answers this: "Falun Dafa is simply so good!" What righteousness is, and what evil is, are not decided by any people in power, or by the whim of any person. Under three years of suppression, we haven't had any place to appeal, any legal means, or even anywhere to voice our concerns. All the TV stations and newspapers are reporting lies and unfair words; all of this is slander, rumors, defamation, confusing right and wrong. Appealing an injustice is protected by the Chinese constitution. Letting people speak will not cause the sky to collapse, but not allowing people to speak is most dangerous. What is said should be based on the facts, and arguments supported with reasons to back them up. No investigation, no right to speak about it. We have no other choice but to adopt all kinds of methods to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa. We're not wrong, we're not against the law, and we're not committing any crime. There are millions of Falun Dafa practitioners, and we can never be beaten down, crushed or arrested. All means used to oppress genuine Falun Dafa practitioners are worthless.

I'm just an ordinary Chinese person with no power or weapons, but I have a happy little family. I deeply love my country, my family and all kind people. I would never do anything bad to the country, to the people nor to my family. We're not against the government or the people, and we are not participating in politics. It's just that through cultivation, I can feel the greatness and mercy of our Teacher, and the sacredness, majesty, magnificence and mighty virtue of Dafa. China has an old saying, "The favor of a drop should be paid back with the favor of a spring of water." Thus, for me, who had the predestined relationship to learn such a great Fa, how could I pay that back? Using all the words in the human language, I could not express all that I have obtained from Dafa, nor repay it.

Just because I clarified the truth and explained the facts about Falun Dafa, which is what a genuine Falun Dafa practitioner should do, you sent me to jail. This is persecuting me.

We're not silly, we're not irrational, we're not blind followers, we're not selfish, we're not discarding our families, and we're not just 'pursuing Consummation.' Quite the opposite, we're responsible to our country, to our people and that's why we dare to speak the truth. People's lives are short; I don't want to waste my life in vain. And neither would I do or say things against my own will; I don't want to leave any regrets behind. A person should live openly and aboveboard, be clear-minded, just, honorable, bighearted, and noble, with a righteous character. Lies can only deceive people temporarily, whereas the truth exists forever. Insisting on believing "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance," this is the smart choice for myself; clarifying the truth and saving sentient beings is my ultimate goal.

You're wrong, you're really wrong. You have spent a huge amount of human resources, materials and money to suppress compassionate people. You have destroyed so many Falun Dafa practitioners' families.

I hope that you will find your conscience and remember, "Falun Dafa is Good!" Just wait, when the truth is displayed in front of everyone, you could then say without shame, "I treated Falun Dafa well, I treated Falun Dafa practitioners well, and I chose kindness."
