My Father Returns to Goodness and Experiences the Healing Power of Falun Dafa

Whenever we see people awaken and correct their wrongdoings after they went astray or went down a wrong path and received karmic retribution, we feel so happy for them, and wish them our sincere blessings. Whenever we see people who are deceived by the lies commit wrongdoings against Dafa disciples, disregarding the warnings from Heaven and going down an evil path from which they might never return, we feel very bad for them. In order to eliminate their hatred and misunderstanding, we are willing to sacrifice everything so that all the sentient beings will have a happy, peaceful, and beautiful future.]

After Falun Gong was banned on July 20^th, 1999, I was illegally detained in a local police station because I upheld my belief in "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance." My father, however, was deceived by the vicious lies from the media and burned all the Falun Gong books at home. After that, he suffered from all kinds of illnesses and looked like he was ten years older than his age. His face became dark and deformed, which made him look horrible. When he walked he could not even straighten his back. Half of his body was also in poor shape. This September, he twisted his ankle while walking on flat ground. His foot became swollen that night. When he went to the hospital, the doctors could not find any problem. Afterwards, he couldn't eat, his face became pale, and he felt that he had lost all of his strength. This time, the doctors found that my father began bleeding from his intestines, but the doctors didn't know the cause and said that they had never seen a case like this. My father's condition was getting worse and worse so that people could not understand his speech. He started to become muddleheaded, and later on, he fainted several times a day.

I told him the principle of karmic relationships, that "Good is rewarded with good and evil is met with evil," hoping he would realize before he died that he had created his karma by destroying the Falun Gong books. Surprisingly, he listened to me this time (I talked to him about this before but he didn't believe it). The following day, he didn't faint. The doctors still told us, "His internal organs are bleeding. He can't eat now, in addition, he has lost the ability to make blood, so his death is fast approaching. If he doesn't receive blood transfusions, he will die in three to five days." My father knew he could not live much longer so he refused to take blood transfusions.

I asked him whether he wanted to cultivate Falun Dafa. Perhaps he then felt the power of Falun Dafa, because he made a wish to cultivate Falun Dafa until the end of his life. He then started to listen to Teacher's lectures. Since he could not move, he didn't practice the five exercises. Then, his condition began to change. Several days later, he could eat and the swelling on his foot went away. Little by little he could walk. Now he doesn't need a crutch any more, his back has become straight and he looks much better.

My family used to be deceived by the lies on the television, so they opposed my practicing Falun Gong. However, they saw the supernatural power of Falun Gong from my father's experience. Now they say, "Falun Gong is really good. The propaganda on TV is all false."

Although my father got over his illnesses, he took a crooked road in his life. Here I want to tell all kind-hearted people: Don't be deceived by the evil lies and keep your righteous minds.
