Tumors Disappearing -- Discussing Negating the Old Forces

Some practitioners had difficulty understanding this.

In our county (in China), recently seven or eight practitioners appeared to have severe "sickness karma" and had symptoms similar to that of partial paralysis, heart disease and massive hemorrhaging. Two practitioners had symptoms almost identical to that of cancer. Their families rushed them to the hospital but they weren't cured. These symptoms recurred many times. An elderly practitioner suddenly passed away and some others had accidents. Although we cannot be certain these incidents are the things that Master was referring to in that lecture, personally I think they are likely connected to what Master was pointing out. Therefore I am writing it down to share with fellow practitioners, so we can completely negate the old forces' final arrangements. Please point out anything inappropriate.

Although Master didn't explicitly mention any specific incidents, he has clearly explained the reason, the purpose and how to eliminate it. We need a strong sense of a united body when we face other practitioners' troubles and realize that the persecution against any practitioner is persecution against the Fa. We also need to recognize its true nature from the perspective of the Fa. As Master had said,

Cultivation and Fa-rectification have not yet concluded. During the process of constant improvement, especially when we are being persecuted, the remaining human notions would constantly surface and interfere with our righteous thoughts. Therefore, it is required of every one of our practitioners to truly be responsible to the Fa, toward fellow practitioners and toward all people at all times. As Master said, "The next person's things are your things, and your things are his things." ("Teaching the Fa at the Washington, D.C. Fa Conference") We absolutely cannot allow the evil old forces to use excuses from the past to persecute a few Dafa practitioners and cause irreversible loss to Dafa.

The presence of our Dafa practitioners in the human world should reflect happiness and good fortune. In terms of our way of thinking or physical being, our presence should show not only compassion, harmony and tolerance, but more importantly, we should be physically healthy, financially stable and have a happy family. In this way we can validate Dafa more effectively. However, the old forces obstruct people from being saved with so-called "tests." It's noteworthy that some things that took place recently could cause great loss to Dafa if not rectified in time. Of course, maybe not all of the practitioners with these tribulations had signed contracts with the old forces.

Several days ago I visited a fellow practitioner. She used to suffer from lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion, which had disappeared for six years after she practiced Dafa. However, recently it recurred and her ten-year-old daughter, a young practitioner, contracted a skin disease called "purpura," and the doctor said she would be paralyzed if the disease becomes serious. In a nearby place, there was a ten-year-old child who suffered from the same ailment, and the family has spent 30,000 to 40,000 Yuan on the ongoing treatment. So she's experienced conflicts within the family over this issue.

I went to visit her and clarified the truth to her family, eliminated the evil elements behind them and what was instilled into their minds by the slanderous T.V. programs. Her family members changed their attitude. In the end they said, "We don't have a problem with her practicing Falun Gong and we didn't say Dafa is not good. But what did she get from practicing it? Not only did she become sick, her daughter also became sick. You guys are also being arrested all the time, so how can I let them practice? How can I not be afraid?"

Non-practitioners sometimes have an irrational attitude of opposition toward Dafa after being deceived by the slanderous media in China. If they went to a hospital for medication and treatments, even if the drugs and treatments gave them relief for only a short while and the doctor failed to find out the cause, the patient would still understand and accept the outcome. He would not turn around and attack the hospital and doctor. However, the above-mentioned fellow practitioner suffered from lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion every day before she practiced Dafa, and it completely disappeared for six years after she practiced Dafa! Isn't it a miracle that Dafa has this incredible curing effect? If a doctor were able to do this for a patient, usually the patient would be very grateful and he would admire the doctor. So why would people attack Dafa in this situation? Dafa practitioners think that this is caused by the old forces' interference and persecution. The old forces use all kinds of excuses to create trouble for Dafa in an attempt to alter Dafa practitioners' righteous faith and further obstruct the practitioners' families and predestined people from being saved. We must treat this with righteous thoughts and eliminate it.

When talking to fellow practitioners in tribulation, I always felt they had a low starting point for sending forth righteous thoughts, as their thoughts were not very pure. They tended to do it for individual improvement and to avoid persecution. In addition to their longstanding unsteady mentality and passive enduring tribulations, the evil was able to find an excuse for further persecution. Although these practitioners realize they should negate the old forces' arrangements, some of their notions unconsciously conformed to the old forces' arrangements. In fact, if we can't transcend ourselves, we cannot break away the old forces' arrangements.

"When Dafa is persecuted, the first thing Dafa disciples should think of is saving sentient beings and how to validate Dafa." (Touring North America to Teach the Fa) This is truly what the Fa requires of us. We did not come to the human world to suffer and eliminate karma, nor did we come to cultivate and improve ourselves. We came to the human world to assist Master to rectify the Fa and save people. How can we acknowledge the old forces' using our attachments and so-called contracts that we signed while in a world of delusion, using the "sickness" of our flesh bodies to interfere with Dafa, to obstruct saving people and to force us to violate our ancient vows?

Through continuous Fa study and experience sharing, in addition to sending forth righteous thoughts together by local Dafa practitioners, we improved in our understanding of Fa principles, and the "sick" practitioners for the most part overcame the tribulations. For the two practitioners with "cancer," one of them found out that the two tumors had disappeared, which greatly surprised the doctor. Another one found out the accumulated fluid in her stomach had disappeared, and she can study the Fa and do exercises normally now. Her family and friends said they would study Dafa together if her illness were cured. Her two daughters are very supportive of her practicing Dafa.

This is indeed "righteous thoughts display the might of Gods." (New Year's Greetings from Master, 12/31/2002) Fa-rectification is still continuing. Let us do better with great confidence and replace with renewed cosmic principles every single thought we have that was arranged by the old forces. Let us not let down Master's benevolence and become true rulers of different cosmos in the future. I would like to conclude with "New Year's Greetings From Master,"

"The endless journey has come to a close

And the pervasive haze is gradually dispersing

While righteous thoughts display the might of Gods

Returning to Heaven is no longer just yearned for."
