Mr. An Xing, 32 years old, is a resident of Xinmin Village, Xinxing Township,
Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province. The police arrested him because he practices Falun Dafa. They
accused him of producing and distributing Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials.
After torturing him for 5 days in the Xinxing Township Police Station, the
police sent An Xing to the Shuangcheng City Detention Center, where they
tortured him further. Mr. An was then illegally sentenced to 8 years in prison,
and sent to Harbin Xinjian Jail.
Ms. An Ling, 40 years old, is also from Xinmin Village. After the police
illegally arrested her they were afraid that she might recognize them later, so
they covered her head with a bag before beating her. She was accused of handing
out Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials, and was illegally sentenced to 7
years in prison.
Ms. Huang Ying, in her fifties, is a worker from the Pingfang District
Orchard and Farmland, Harbin City. The police from the Xinxing Township Police
Station kidnapped her from home. During an interrogation at Shuangcheng City
Detention Center, Bai Yuqiao and other police perpetrators beat Ms. Huang's face
with plastic tubes until it became swollen. They also hurt her feet severely,
which included removing several of her toenails. Ms. Huang couldn't walk
afterwards and two people had to carry her out of the room. Officials from the
Xinxing Township Police Station demanded that she tell people that it was not
the police who beat her. The police charged her with handing out Falun Gong
truth-clarifying materials, and illegally sentenced her to 3 years in prison.
Huang Ying asked her daughter to appeal on her behalf, but the police said that
if she appeals they would add an additional year to Huang Ying's sentence. Her
daughter (a non-practitioner) therefore decided not to appeal.
Both An Ling and Huang Ying were sent to Harbin Xinjian Jail.
