On April 8^th, 2002, the "Focal Point Talk Show" program of China's CCTV network introduced Wang Bo's family case to bring a false charge against Falun Gong and deceive the viewing audience.

The subject of this program and litigant of the case, Wang Xinzhong, Wang Bo's father, is a former member of Chinese Communist Party and the Shijiazhuang railway mechanical section leader. Because he practices Falun Gong, Wang Xinzhong was expelled from the party, removed from his position at the railway and forced to leave his home to avoid further persecution in May 2001.

In January 2002, he was kidnapped by Chinese officials and taken to the so-called "Law Education and Training Center" in Hebei Province. The center is nothing but a brainwashing center in disguise. The center used every way in order to forcibly brainwash him. Wang suffered four months of severe mental torture and anguish.

On May 12^th, 2002, after Wang Xinzhong escaped from the brainwashing center, he disclosed the inside story of the "Focal Point Talk Show" program that used Wang Bo's case to bring a false charge against Falun Gong and to thereby deceive the public. He clearly and succinctly exposed the lies broadcasted by the program, which frightened and panicked the authorities. The lawless officials in Hebei Province proceeded to post several warrants for the arrest of Wang Xinzhong in front of the gates at provincial party committee and provincial government.

At the end of October 2002, Wang Xinzhong was arrested again in Yuci City, Shanxi Province. According to the information provided, corrupt officials in Shanxi Province used a large amount of manpower and resources to seriously damage Shanxi's truth-clarifying materials production sites and to arrest several devoted Dafa practitioners including Wang Xinzhong, who was destitute and homeless at that time. Currently, all the arrested practitioners are being illegally detained in Shanxi Province.

Also according to internal information, the officials in Hebei Province are attempting to incarcerate Wang Xinzhong again in the "Hebei Province Brainwashing Center" and implement forcible brainwashing to intensify the persecution. The Hebei officials are currently negotiating with the officials in Shanxi Province for Wang Xinzhong's transfer.
