More Than 200 Innocent Dafa Practitioners Detained in Qingcaoyu Prison in Minxi, Longyan City, Fujian Province

Qingcaoyu Prison in Minxi, Longyan City, Fujian Province, has illegally detained more than 200 male Dafa practitioners from Fujian Province.

After several years of cultivation, the Dafa practitioners' pure righteousness and magnificent forbearance have enabled some policemen to understand the truth of Falun Gong at different levels. But caught between conscience and immediate benefits, many policemen still cannot position themselves correctly. They still frequently handcuff and hang up the steadfast practitioners who refuse to give up their belief in Falun Dafa. The practitioners are hung up, handcuffed from a basketball goal or the beam of a house with both feet off the ground or only the toes touching the ground. Very quickly, this form of torture renders their hands and arms numb and immobile. After their evil conduct was exposed, these policemen didn't feel regret for what they had done. Instead, they retaliated against those practitioners.

The Qingcaoyu Prison authorities also conducted brainwashing sessions many times in conjunction with the "610 Office" (an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party, and all other political and judiciary systems). They subjected kind-hearted Dafa practitioners to sleep deprivation, verbally abused them, and forced them to watch videotapes slandering Dafa, just to name a few things that they do. They conducted a brainwashing session just before the 16th Party Congress. Now, the local detention centers in western Fujian Province are still illegally detaining a number of Dafa practitioners and planning to send them to forced labor camp without legal procedures.
