Congress. They sent the practitioners to the brainwashing center in a detention center. The police
continue to arrest practitioners. They used such means as deceiving, breaking into residences, and
kidnapping. They also asked the relatives of practitioners to encourage practitioners to go home so
they can arrest them. The police at Fanjiatun Town Police Station have been searching for the practitioners who left
home to avoid persecution. A practitioner's father passed away and the police went to the funeral
home to arrest the practitioner. Since July 22, 1999, Yao, the head of the police station, has
illegally sent six practitioners to the forced labor camp and forced many practitioners to leave
their homes in order to avoid being persecuted. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Hou Zijian Is Arrested On October 14, 2002, Xu Yanbo, the Vice Party Secretary of the Huanren County Law and Politics
Committee, led a group of police officers to arrest Hou Zijian from his home. They illegally
detained Hou for nearly two months at the county detention center and did not allow his family to
visit. They prohibited the family from sending him any winter clothing, and they also asked the
family to pay for his food. On December 8, they illegally sentenced Hou to two years in Weiningying
Forced Labor Camp in Benxi. However, Huanren Detention Center did not tell Hou's family about the

and send forth righteous thoughts. 3. Sending forth righteous thoughts hourly to eliminate the evil and the problems within the
practitioners. The righteous thoughts of the practitioners eliminated the disturbance and achieved a unique
effect for the conference. The conference lasted the whole day and ended in a field of benevolent
