By a Dafa practitioner in Australia

(Clearwisdom.net) Teacher's poem "The Knowing Heart" reminds us to, "Follow Teacher closely, steadfastly cultivating Dafa." As the Fa-rectification advances, we Dafa practitioners have begun various projects to introduce people to Falun Dafa and have achieved very good effects in clarifying the truth and exposing the evil. I understand that we are harmonizing the Fa in the human world. These are among the many pleasant expressions of Dafa in this world.

During this process, because we have lots of contact with people and a great work burden, sometimes we did not pay enough attention, did not study the Fa well enough, and also had less time to study the Fa. Therefore, we couldn't always keep a clear mind; our minds for cultivation and feelings about a Dafa disciple's responsibilities were weakened, and unknowingly we could become easily attached to the forms used to introduce Falun Dafa to others, and to our own position in Dafa. We may have forgotten that we are a part of Dafa as a whole and that all of our abilities are bestowed by Dafa, which makes it is easy for us to consider things from the perspective of an everyday person instead of from the Fa.

Actually, using any form to introduce Falun Dafa to others or thinking too much about our positions is not our goal. As Dafa disciples in the Fa-rectification period, clarifying the truth and saving the sentient beings in order to fulfill our vows are essential. I enlightened to the fact that any of our thoughts are dangerous if they lead us away from Teacher and Dafa, and we need to eliminate such thoughts immediately. Teacher has already reminded us:

"Under any circumstance, in any period, and no matter how busy you are with your work, you can't stray from your Fa-study, as this is what fundamentally ensures that you will improve and reach Consummation. You can't do Dafa work without studying the Fa, or it would be an everyday person doing Dafa work. It has to be Dafa disciples who do Dafa work--this is the requirement for you." At the beginning of 2003 fellow practitioners, let's walk "the rest of the journey" ("New Year's Greetings from Master") well, complete our prehistoric vows, and let's not disappoint Teacher's benevolent salvation.
