(Clearwisdom.net) The time before Christmas and New Year's Day was a perfect opportunity to clarify the truth to people. I was utterly amazed at the reactions I received from my friends.

I called some friends before Christmas to convey my season's greetings. One of my friends, an attorney, had gone back to China. So I said to him, "Now that you are in China you can tell your family and friends more about Falun Gong. Don't forget what I told you in the past. This is the best present you can possibly give them." He sent his best wishes to my entire family, and then he said loudly, "I also wish Master Li Hongzhi good health." This came to me as a complete surprise. People are all changing their attitudes, unknowingly and invisibly.

Another one of my friends is a financial controller for a loan company. After we wished each other Merry Christmas, I told her that we were going to have an evening party with performances in early January and I invited her to come. She immediately asked me to set aside nine tickets for her. Obviously she would bring not only her family members but also some friends to join our New Year's celebration. When I told her about Falun Gong in the past, she also expressed that there must be something more important and more wonderful in this world than money. I'm sure she is now gradually realizing that this most important and wonderful thing is Falun Dafa.

When I called an old schoolmate in China, our conversation shifted to Falun Gong. As we talked, she suddenly realized what I was trying to tell her and said, "Oh. I should hurry and call the head nurse who works for a gynaecologist in another city and let her know about this, too." In the end she asked my advice on a job transfer. I told her, "If you always keep in mind that Falun Dafa is good, you will have true happiness and a bright future. This is the most important thing." She said, "I'll remember everything you said. I understand it all. I know that the thought, 'Falun Dafa is good,' is most important. You don't have to worry about me!"

When I called my younger brother, it was obvious that he was under pressure from the Chinese government and was afraid to talk about Falun Gong. He revealed that the province had sent people to my parents' home to brainwash them. My brother never practiced Falun Gong, but he still kept the Falun Gong books and the videotapes of Teacher's nine-day seminar I gave him five years ago. He has never said anything against Dafa, but under the "special attention" from the Chinese government he does not want to cause trouble for my parents, either. The Chinese autocratic rule is still using all possible ways and means to persecute the family members of overseas Falun Gong practitioners.

During the Christmas holidays, once when I was handing out truth clarification materials to Chinese visitors at a tourist spot, a group of Chinese officials and businessmen passed by, and almost all of them took the materials. One of them who had taken the material suddenly turned back and walked toward me, saying, "Please give me ten more sets. I would like to give them to other people."

On my way home from this tourist spot I bumped into several Chinese people in the elevator at the train station, so I gave them what was left of the truth clarification materials. When we walked out of the elevator, a middle-aged man, while holding the materials in one hand, gave me a thumbs-up with the other. He smiled at me and said loudly, "Falun Dafa is the most magnificent Fa in this whole world. I will definitely read these materials carefully."

Teacher said,

"Don't underestimate your sending even one flyer or one booklet to China, making one phone call there, or sending one fax there or sending all sorts of information--the effect is quite significant, and its effect in frightening and eliminating the evil is huge, truly huge." (Touring North America to Teach the Fa, 2002)

In the process of clarifying the truth, I truly realized that the only hope of sentient beings being saved lies all in "Hurry Up And Tell Them." We absolutely should not be restrained or impeded by our own notions, for example thinking that we had already clarified the truth to someone in the past, and there is no more to be done, thus giving up the opportunity to repeatedly and thoroughly clarify the truth to him or her; nor should we take the salvation of an individual as a personal matter, and consequently belittle the influence of this person. Actually, those who have been saved, who take to their hearts "Falun Dafa is good," will naturally play a role in passing it to others, heart-to-heart and person-to-person.
