Denmark Police Make a Righteous Decision - Chinese Embassy's False Accusations End in Complete Failure

(Clearwisdom.net) Several days ago, the Danish Falun Dafa Association received a letter from Mr. Michael Clan, the head of the Gentofte area Police Station. In the letter, he said: "According to your letter dated the 25th of August 2003, you requested to have the words "Not permitted to use a loud speaker" deleted from the permission notice for your daily appeal in front of the Chinese Embassy.

After reconsideration, I have decided that from now on, the words "Not permitted to use a loud speaker" will not be a part of the permission notices for Falun Gong appeals in front of the Chinese Embassy. A corrected permission notice, which is valid from now until the 31st of December 2003, will be sent to you. A copy of the above decision will be sent to the Department of Administration of Justice."

The cause and effect of this letter can be traced back to last August. At that time, the Chinese Embassy sent a letter of complaint to the Danish police about Falun Gong practitioners' appeal in front of the Embassy. The Embassy not only fabricated false excuses as a complaint, but also pressured the local Danish police through diplomatic means. Therefore, the police ordered practitioners to move their appeal away from the Chinese Embassy, where they had appealed for three years. This July, after practitioners continually explained the truth about Falun Gong and the reason for holding their peaceful appeal, the Department of Administration of Justice in Denmark made a just and sensible decision, and moved the site of appeal back to its former place -- opposite the front door of the Chinese Embassy. For a detailed account, please see http://www.clearharmony.net/articles/200307/13798.html

But, in the original adjudication two aspects were not mentioned: 1. Due to the Embassy's complaint, the following sentence appeared in the permission notice that allows practitioners to appeal: "Not allowed to give leaflets to people who go in or come out of the Embassy." 2. As the Chinese Embassy had also falsely claimed that practitioners used a loudspeaker and disturbed their work, another sentence was added to the permission notice: "Not allowed to use loudspeakers."

Actually, every person who lives in democratic countries knows that whether someone chooses to accept a leaflet or not is their own choice. This is a citizen's basic right; any ruling to restrict this kind of right is against the law. As to loudspeakers, the practitioners who go to the Embassy do not have one and do not need one. This is a complete fabrication.

As a result of this, practitioners took photographs when they were practicing the exercises and sending forth righteous thoughts as proof for the Department of Administration of Justice and the local police station. These photographs were to be used as evidence of the Chinese Embassy's false claim and to have them delete the unwanted sentence from the permission notice.

Later, the deputy chief of the local police force said that being "prohibited to give out leaflets" would also no longer be in the permission notice and, after requesting a meeting with the Chief of the local police, practitioners received a letter stating that the first paragraph, which read "Not permitted to use a loud speaker", will no longer be in the permission notice.

This trial of strength between the evil and the righteous was instigated by the Chinese Embassy, but because of Dafa practitioners' unshakable righteousness, and the strong democratic sense of justice, conscience and human rights of the Danish people and local police, the correct result was decided upon. The Chinese Embassy's intention to deliberately make things difficult for practitioners by using false accusations ended in complete failure.
