I came to know a Falun Gong practitioner Wang Yu (alias name), who opened up a take-out food shop. During his dealings, he has made an example of himself to help people understand the truth of Falun Gong. He strictly requires that the quality and price of the products are reasonable, and treats others with compassion. By his actions, he personifies and demonstrates the beauty of Falun Dafa.

Everyone spread it around by word of mouth, and soon, the shop became well-known in areas a few miles away. Everyone knew that there exists a food shop set up by Falun Gong practitioner, and that the portions were never skimpy. The store is clean and everyone can eat food purchased there with confidence.

During the time of the SARS crisis, there was a saying in the area that eating Falun Gong practitioner's food meant you would not contract SARS. Some people came from a long way to buy the food. Even when children came to buy food, they knew that they should buy food sold by Falun Gong practitioners.

A while ago, the China Central TV broadcast a falsified report claiming Falun Gong practitioners poisoned a lot people. This angered local folks who said, "don't ever believe what is said on TV. We know Falun Gong practitioners, and we are 100% confident of buying and eating food made by Falun Gong practitioners."

There is a another take-out food shop next to Wang Yu's. Since so many people came to do business with Wang Yu, the other shop began to have poor sales, so the shop owner was very anxious. Wang Yu realised that this shop owner also depended on his shop to make a living, and he thought, "if his shop had to shut down because of poor sales, then he might be angry and may not be saved due to his anger towards Dafa." So Wang Yu limited his own production and left some room for the other shop. Many people had to buy from the shop next door after Wang Yu's shop sold out of food. The owner of the shop was moved, and Wang Yu told him, Falun Gong practitioners must always consider others. So the shop owner tells everyone that Falun Gong is good, and that if it were other people next door, his shop would have had to close!

The street where Wang Yu lived does not have sewers, so people would pour dirty water onto the street. Wang Yu dug a hole by the side of the road (which does not interfere with the traffic), so the dirty water would flow into the hole. One day, a person passed by Wang Yu's house. He found that while everywhere else was full of dirty water, Wang's place is very clean. When he found that it was Wang Yu who dug the hole, he said from the bottom of his heart, "Those who practice Falun Gong are good."

Before Wang Yu practiced Falun Gong, he had an enemy. After he began to practice, Wang Yu began to say hello to his enemy, but that person hardly answered back. One day, that person's grandson came to buy food. The next day, that person's daughter-in-law came and complained that there was sand in the food her son bought. Wang Yu said, "Then you can throw it away" and gave her a new pack of food. After two days, the person himself came to buy food with a smile on his face, and Wang Yu clarified the truth to him. He said that he knew Falun Gong is good, and the TV had fabricated everything.

Wang Yu has demonstrated the righteous actions that Dafa practitioners should have, and set a good example amongst the people, so everyone is willing to listen to him, believing what he says. He only needs to say a few words and everyone will understand. After people understood the truth, they would spread it around to others. At the moment, there are about 3000-4000 people who live in Wang Yu's area, and over 80% of them have come to learn the truth about Falun Gong. Some people helped spread the word after they learned. Many asked for truth-clarifying materials, or competed in reading them first. Some even started to practice, themselves.

The evil people have wanted to persecute Wang Yu a few times, but were pushed back by the local officers. Some officers who are directly in charge of Falun Gong said: "this person is a good person, don't make trouble for him." An officer, who initially monitored Wang Yu, has now attained the Fa after Wang Yu clarified the truth to him. This officer's son-in-law is a security guard working in a residential area. There was the rule that anyone who caught Falun Gong practitioners distributing Dafa materials would be rewarded with 2000 Yuan. This officer told his son-in-law to escort Falun Gong practitioners handing out materials to a safe place if he ran into them.

The purpose of me writing Wang Yu's story is to discuss with everyone the following issue:

We all have family and friends, even work mates, study mates and neighbors. There are hundreds of them all around us.

If we can all clarify the truth with our own actions, they will all be saved. Some practitioners have given out many truth clarifying materials, yet they cannot keep their own actions right. Many have not acted according to the requirements of Falun Dafa, so many people around them have misunderstandings.

Once the evil discovers our loophole, it will use it to cause damage to Fa-rectification. However, if we can all act according to "Truth, Compassion, and Tolerance," then people around us would know that Dafa is good.

Everything we do in the Fa-rectification period is not just to show everyday people that we are good people; but it is for the purpose of validating Dafa and saving sentient beings. Therefore, we must study the Fa well, constantly remove our human notions, and assimilate to the Fa. The demeanor that Dafa practitioners display cannot be forced or pretended; it is a natural behavior as a result of up grading our inner nature.

At last, let us remind ourselves of Teacher's words:

"If we don't pay attention to our own behavior in our daily lives, everyday people will see our actions and, since they can't get to know you at a deep level such as by studying the Fa, they will just look at how you act. And it's possible that one sentence or one action of yours will make them unsavable or create a bad impression of Dafa. "If all Chinese Dafa students can be more mindful of their conduct in daily life, be neater, and be considerate of others in everything they do, then that's the demeanor of Dafa disciples."
