City Council of the City of San Bruno, State of California

Whereas, Falun Dafa is an ancient Chinese practice for mind and body made public by Master Li Hongzhi in 1992; and

Whereas, Falun Dafa is based upon the universal principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance; and

Whereas, Falun Dafa involves meditation and slow gentle movements which can improve health, reduce stress and increase energy; and

Whereas, Falun Dafa is practiced worldwide by people of all ages, cultures and backgrounds, including several cities in San Mateo County; and

Now, Therefore, I, Larry Franzella, Mayor of the City of San Bruno, extend our congratulations to practitioners of Falun Dafa.
