Germany: Introducing Falun Dafa at the Festival of Asian Culture in Fulda (Photos)
(Clearwisdom.net, October 13, 2003) The city of Fulda's Third Festival
of Asian Culture was held on October 3rd and 4th. The aim of this festival is to
introduce traditional Asian culture to the people of Fulda. Two years ago, local
practitioners attended the First Festival of Asian Culture and the festival
organizer was left with a good impression of Falun Dafa. When practitioners applied for permission to attend the
Festival this year, the organizer was very excited. During the two-day festival,
practitioners had several opportunities to introduce Falun Gong on the main
stage. As well as demonstrating the Falun Gong exercises, they performed the
traditional Chinese Lotus Dance immediately after the opening ceremony on
Saturday evening. A young Dafa practitioner also performed a solo piano
rendition of the song "Pudu". During the break, many members of the audience came to the
Falun Dafa information booth. They praised the practitioners' graceful
performance and said that they had learned more about Falun Gong. Several people
expressed an interest in learning the exercises.
