Germany: Zhuan Falun is Exhibited at the World's Largest Book Fair (Photos)

The annual book fair in Frankfurt is the largest in the world. More than 300,000 publications provided by about 6,600 companies from 104 countries were exhibited this year.

On October the 8th, Zhuan Falun, the main text for practitioners of Falun Gong, was put on exhibition in collaboration with the Yih Chyun Book Co. in Taiwan and Germany. The exhibition of the book in various languages aroused great interest among buyers and browsers.

Zhuan Falun has been translated into more than thirty languages so far. There were twenty five versions put on exhibition at the book fair, including the Slovakian, Croatian, and Hebrew versions.

The Falun Dafa booth was located at the corner of the exhibition area. The audience came to the booth with curiosity, and asked for flyers and information. Among the audience, the most noticeable were tourists and employees from participating companies from China. When they saw Zhuan Falun published with different colors in various languages, they all stared at the books with open eyes. Practitioners went to talk to them.

Yih Chyun Book Co. is the publisher of Falun Gong books. The company's German representative said that Zhuan Falun is a book that teaches people how to cultivate themselves in accordance with "Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance." He continued to say that the company was pleased to bring the book to the exhibition in Frankfurt so that readers around the world could have an opportunity to see it. The book has been very popular worldwide. He said that a good book deserves to be exhibited at the largest book fair.

At the book fair this year, the organizers made the first ever attempt to set up forums that would cover a variety of subjects. In a forum named "Trend", there were two introductory seminars for Falun Gong entitled "Why has Zhuan Falun Moved Tens of Million Chinese People?" At the seminar, which lasted one and a half hours, Falun Gong practitioners introduced the tradition of cultivation, the rise and development of Falun Gong in China, and the publication of Zhuan Falun. There were also exercise demonstrations, together with narration in both Chinese and German and extracts from "Lunyu" (the preface from Zhuan Falun). The narrated exercise demonstration brought the seminar to a close.

The seminar attracted a lot of people and the media. Some even learned the exercises during practitioners' exercise demonstration.
