The Torture "Five Horses Splitting the Body" Cripples a Kind-Hearted Woman From Rural Hubei Province

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a woman and a farmer. To expose the monstrous crimes that the evildoing people have committed against Falun Dafa practitioners, I am writing down what I have witnessed and experienced. These villains have been acting with utter disregard for Dafa practitioners' lives.

I was arrested on December 26, 2000 when I came to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa. Police officials from Chibi City in Hubei Province took me back and detained me in the No. 2 Detention Center. Policeman Ye Jun interrogated me daily. I refused to cooperate with him. He violently beat me on my head, eyes, chest and abdomen. I was forced to kneel down on the floor continuously for four hours. I was tortured for seven days this way.

On February 22, 2001 they came to interrogate me again, and so started a new round of torture. Besides policeman Ye Jun, Section Chief Cai also joined in the torture. I was beaten so severely that it seemed that all the bones in my body were shattered. My eyes, which had an illness and lost eyesight before but were later healed through my practicing Falun Gong, could not see anything anymore. I could not stand on my legs. I had no strength even to crawl. No matter how bad they tortured me, I determinedly refused to write any "Guarantee Statement"* to give up cultivation. What is wrong for me to follow "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance?" It was these debased people who were wrong! Becoming tired from the beating, Ye Jun then left breathlessly. Seeing Ye Jun left, Cai shut the door, and said, "It is my turn now." With cigarette in his mouth, he sat in the chair on an angle, with one leg on top of another, and looked at me lying down on the floor motionlessly. He fiercely shouted, "Take off your clothes!" Cai rushed to me and even started to try to forcibly rip off my clothes. I protected myself with all my might. At that moment, several persons came in. Seeing this, he then said, "You can go now." After I got back to the cell, my whole body shivered severely, and the wounds were so painful as if they were burning.

On June 28, 2001, a person whose last name is Qian came to the cell and said to me, "You are almost crippled for practicing Falun Gong. We'll take you to a hospital to get some injections." I saw through their plot, so I exposed it. "Practicing Falun Gong does not make me crippled. It is you who made me crippled from your beatings!" They shackled and handcuffed me and then forcibly dragged me into a vehicle.

They not only tied my legs and hands onto the bed during the injections, but also held down my head and covered my eyes with a cloth. After coming back to the cell from the injection, my eyes, nose, ears and mouth started to bleed. My eyes and ears were swollen and painful, and my head hurt so bad it felt as if it were cracked open. I also vomited and had diarrhea. All I vomited was blood, even purple chunks of blood. Whenever I had to relieve myself, I hurt so severely as if I was giving birth. I could not eat and I could only drink a little water. I fainted several times. Seeing me in such a state, the vicious police, afraid of being held responsible, called my husband and asked him to take me home. I suffered miserably in jail this way for over two months. Without Master's protection and the fellow practitioners' care and help, I would not be able to have survived to the present.

They still would not leave me alone, even after I got home. They locked me inside my house with two locks and did not want me to go out. They also ordered my husband to monitor me. If I ran away, they would make my husband liable. I am a Fa-rectification period Dafa disciple and I should do what a Dafa practitioner should do. How could an ordinary lock be able to lock me inside? During the afternoon of September 14, 2002, when my husband was sound asleep, I rushed out with the aid of my righteous thoughts. In spite of the severe storm, I went out and put up some flyers. When it was late in the night, I went to a pile of hay and spent the night there.

Seeing me determined in my cultivation, the police became exasperated. They arrested me again and also escalated their persecution. Among all the means of torture, the cruelest one was "five horses splitting the body." First, they knocked me down to the ground. Then four people held and pulled my arms and legs with great force as the fifth person held down my head. I felt that my legs and hands were dislocated and my body was about to split. I hurt too much to cry out. They still did not give up, saying, "Your neck is getting longer. It doesn't look very good." While saying such, they suddenly pushed my head toward my neck with a strong force. I lost consciousness.

My legs and hands and even small joints were all dislocated. I was crippled because of the torture, but my heart was not crippled. I want to use my mouth to speak out the evildoing persons' plots and expose their wicked deeds and lies.
