Cases of Good Being Rewarded and Evil Receiving Karmic Retribution

A man who lives on Daxi Street of Tiexi District in Anshan City had such poor health that that it was uncertain whether he would live through the next winter. Since 2002, when he person read the truth-clarifying information about Falun Dafa, learned the truth about the persecution, and understood that Falun Dafa is good, he has become healthier and healthier.

Yu Liangwen lived on Gonghe Street of Tiexi District, Anshan City. Yu was very healthy before 2002. Deceived by the lies of Jiang's regime, Yu started to hate Falun Dafa, and he even reviled our Teacher. After the 2003 Chinese New Year (in February) Yu was diagnosed with lung cancer and hospitalized. He died on August 25, 2003.

Another resident of Gonghe Street, Yang Zhengfeng, was also deceived by the lies of Jiang's regime. Yang hated Falun Dafa, and he also reviled our Teacher. In 2002, Yang was diagnosed with rectal cancer and underwent surgery. Refusing to learn the truth and give up his hatred of Falun Dafa, Yang had to endure more surgery in June 2003.

Wang Laisui, male, over 50 years old, is a resident of Jindouying Township, Yanggu County, Liaocheng City of Shangdong Province. Since July 20, 1999, he has been relentlessly persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners. On many occasions, Wang followed practitioners and told the police the practitioners' whereabouts. He even led the police to practitioners so that the police could illegally arrest them. Wang suddenly fell ill and is in a coma now.

Yang Qingzheng, male, was a resident of Dongjin Village, Jindouying Township, Yanggu County of Shangdong Province. Since July 20, 1999, he has loathed Falun Dafa practitioners. In July 2001, he tipped off the police about the whereabouts of three practitioners, which resulted in their being arrested. Among them, practitioner Wang Xinglei died from torture at the Yanggu Police Department. The other two practitioners were also subjected to inhumane torture. Yang Qingzheng was diagnosed with cancer in 2002, and he died painfully in 2003. His evil deeds brought suffering to himself and his family. Some of his family members fell ill and had to be hospitalized. His second son was fined after being found guilty of "corruption." During the Chinese New Year in 2003, Yang's second daughter-in-law and her daughter were poisoned by natural gas. His granddaughter died and his daughter-in-law was hospitalized. Yang's other granddaughter, however, believes that Falun Dafa is good. When she accidentally fell from the third floor at school she was not injured. Even the doctors at the County Hospital said it was a miracle. The contrast between these different events really shocked the people.

[Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.]
