By a Dafa Practitioner

Through cultivation, the conditions of our individual bodies have kept pace with the elevation of our xinxing. But inadvertently, the requirements for this have become part of our work. In doing the work, "we should be achieving certain conditions." The results of the work we were doing would dictate whether we were happy or worried. Superficially, we were doing the work required of us, but we were visualizing that we must achieve a good result as a condition. Hence, we did not really accomplish the task at hand well enough.

Of course, we have to regulate conditions as we perform the work. When we discover that there is something incorrect, we must immediately compare it with the requirements of Dafa and do it well. That is the process of our cultivation. That is to say, what we want to do requires the correct conditions, they are the prerequisites. To consider the fundamental point of doing the work in accordance to the requirements of Dafa and do the work well is to consider others while doing it, and so manifest the condition of selflessness. If the work were done for the results alone, the outcome would be due to selfishness, achieved by force, and thus not be good.

Teacher said (Zhuan Falun, Chapter 9, "A Clear and Clean Mind"):

"The reason that you cannot achieve tranquility is that your mind is not empty and you have not reached that high a level, which can only be achieved step by step. It goes hand in hand with the level of your improvement. When you give up attachments, your level will be upgraded, and your ability to concentrate will also improve. If you want to achieve tranquility through some techniques or methods, I would call this searching for external help. In qigong practice, however, going awry and following an evil way simply refer to people searching for external help. With Buddhism in particular, if you search for external help, you are said to have taken a demonic way. In genuine cultivation practice one must cultivate the heart: Only when you upgrade your xinxing can you attain a clear and clean mind, and a state free of intention (wuwei). Only when your xinxing is upgraded can you assimilate to the characteristic of the universe and remove different human desires, attachments, and other bad things. Only then will you be able to abandon the bad things in yourself and ascend so that you will not be restricted by the characteristic of the universe. Then the substance of de can be transformed into gong. Don't they go hand in hand? It's just such a principle!"

I understand that as we act in accordance to the requirement of Dafa and do what is necessary in Fa-rectification, we automatically manifest what is required of us. The existence of the correct conditions will enable us to do our work well. That is to say, the Fa principles of Dafa will provide us with the conditions in whatever we are required to do and direct us on how to do the work. Therefore, if we act in accordance to the standards of Dafa to perform our work after understanding the Fa principles and letting go of selfishness to consider others first, and with strong righteous thoughts, we would thus be bestowed with the necessary conditions by the Fa. It is a mutually complementing and harmonious condition.
