Mr. Wang Hongbin, 39 years old, graduated from Changchun Post College and was an engineer at the telephone equipment plant of Hebei Province. He started to cultivate Dafa in 1994. Ever since then he had benefited tremendously both physically and mentally. He was a well-recognized, good person in his work unit.

On July 20, 1999, Jiang's gang started the persecution of Falun Gong. That night, Wang Hongbin and his wife were taken away from home, leaving his son, an elementary school pupil, alone at home. Wang Hongbin was illegally detained for three months before he was released in October. Since then, the Wang's have lost their right to leave a peaceful life.

In 2000, Wang Hongbin and his wife were both fired by their work units and they lost their livelihood.

On December 5, 2000, the "610 Office" and the Changan Branch of the Shijiazhuang City Police Department illegally ransacked Wang Hongbin's home and took him away. The police tortured him in order to extort a confession. He was then illegally sentenced to two years of forced labor education and thrown into Team 2 of Shijiazhuang Labor Camp.

While in the labor camp, Wang Hongbin suffered extremely cruel torture both physically and mentally. The pain he experienced was unspeakable. Later he could not eat anything because of stomachache. Only after that was he sent to the hospital for examination.

In November 2002, Wang Hongbin was released. At that time, he was already extremely weak. He often sweated, coughed uncontrollably, and he couldn't get to sleep either. The torture he endured had greatly traumatized him. His health deteriorated rapidly. He passed away at 11:45 p.m. on October 9, 2003.

Everyone cried after they learned of his death. They felt sorry that such a good person died in his prime. They were outraged by the brutality of Jiang's gang.
