By a Falun Dafa Practitioners from Huainan, mainland China

Mr. Ji Huijun a 42 year old former worker of the Panyi Mineral, Wanhuai, was the Falun Dafa assistant in Panji District, Wanhuai Precinct. He was arrested and secretly sentenced to 12 years in prison for his persistence in clarifying the truth about Falun Gong to the public.

Before beginning the practice of Falun Dafa, Ji Huijun contracted hepatitis in 1991. His skin was jaundiced and his physical strength frail. He was hospitalized for a long time without improvement. His condition worsened and he developed cirrhosis of the liver and edema. At that point, it was not expected that he would have long to live.

Mr. Ji Huijun began to practice Falun Gong in 1994. He participated in workshops conducted by our Teacher. Since he started to practice Falun Gong, his sickness disappeared quickly. His complexion returned to a normal healthy color and his health fully recovered. He was surprised with the miraculous effectiveness of Falun Gong and was very grateful to our Teacher for giving him a second life.

With the wish in his heart to help more people benefit from Falun Gong, he volunteered to be the assistant in Panji District, Wanhuai Precinct. He put in a lot of effort to introduce the benefits of Falun Dafa to the public.

After the persecution of Falun Gong began on July 20, 1999, Ji Huijun was perplexed by the government's propaganda against Falun Gong and the prohibition against practicing it. He was detained for 15 days for refusing to defame Teacher Li and Falun Dafa.

He went to Beijing to express the true nature of Falun Gong to the government according to his right as a citizen. He was detained after he returned from Beijing. After being released from the detention center, he used many means to clarify the truth of Falun Gong to the public and to expose the lies slandering Falun Dafa.

Police tried to arrest him but were unsuccessful. He was forced to leave home and to live a difficult life but was steadfast in his cultivation of Falun Dafa. He treated clarifying the truth as his mission.

In July 2002, Ji Huijun was arrested in Xuzhou. He was first tried publicly in Huainan City, Anhui Province, in July 2003. Under the powerful action of practitioners' righteous thoughts, the trial was quickly ended without a verdict (refer to: http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2003/9/2/39808.html).

He was recently "tried" again, this time in a secret trial, and was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
