More Phone Calls Needed to Clarify the Truth

Recently I met several practitioners from China through clarifying the truth over the phone. When asked what they thought would be most important thing we could do, they all said much the same, hoping that all of us would continue to make phone calls.

According to practitioners released from prison, we found that they could all recognize from the police's attitude whenever they had received a phone call. An old man told me that his whole family, including his wife, 3 children and a grandson, used to practice Falun Gong. However, his oldest son died of persecution in 2001. His second son's wife has given up her practice under severe pressure and torture and now assists the authorities in the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners. He wanted me to call her and help her to take up the practice of Dafa again. I asked him what he and others wish us to do the most? He replied candidly, "Make more calls. It doesn't matter who receives the phone calls, be it the evil police or members of the general public, they are all in shock after listening to you on the phone. Some people may argue or even scold you, but your words have already caused enormous changes in their hearts and are waking them up. Hence our biggest wish is for you to suffocate the evil through making lots of phone calls and saving sentient beings."

A practitioner who came back to Dafa told me: Every word you said at that moment was imprinted on my mind. Though I could not accept it and even argued with you, it turned out that every word you told me made me think, and I finally understood."

One time I was asked rudely some questions when clarifying the truth. The following is our conversation:

Q: Is your teacher a human or a god?

A: Teacher had said he is a human being with a human appearance.

Q: I mean how do you look at your teacher? (With a very serious tone)

A: My teacher is a remarkable man who helped people from different nationalities, color, beliefs and who speak different languages regain their virtue.

Q: What is consummation? When can you reach consummation? Can you reach consummation?

A: Consummation is a state of a cultivator. As a cultivator constantly conforms to the principle of "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance", his level constantly rises. And what shows on the outside is that this person becomes a more and more compassionate, selfless and considerate of others. When a cultivator reaches a very high level, he reaches consummation. On the other hand, a real cultivator does not have the attachment to reaching consummation. Any attachment to personal gains, including reaching consummation, is not a correct state of a cultivator. So, as to whether he can reach consummation and when, depend all on the cultivator's xinxing, and is not a matter of time.

He told me those questions came from what he read and heard. He gladly said: "Do you think I can become a Falun Gong practitioner?" I replied, "as long as you study the Fa and do the exercises, follow the criteria of truthfulness, compassion and forbearance, you will certainly become a Falun Gong practitioner."

Telling the truth over the phone daily is an important part and also a driving force and test of my cultivation. I can't answer just any question if I don't study the Fa well. Study the Fa is not just reading the Fa but is a process of conforming to the Fa.

Whenever I pick up the phone, thinking "as long as you still have any compassion left in your heart, I can move your heart," and as long as I hold the wish to save sentient beings through reaching their compassionate side, the results always turn out to be great. When the results are not so good, I often found myself that I did not hold compassionate thoughts, I was just doing my job. Making phone calls is a process of real cultivation; what's more, it is a process of getting rid of the old forces arrangements and human notions.

If all practitioners, not just those being physically tortured, can totally deny this evil persecution, this persecution will no longer be so out of control. I often heard practitioners say that the persecution has been going on for a while, people are getting numb; even ourselves have become numb, how can we expect everyday people to be responsive?

Another of my understandings is that, through telling the truth, practitioners in and outside of China can become one. They can wake up from the numbness and walk out of the human notions (like being in different projects and geological areas), totally give up attachments to fame, gain and sentimentality and thus fulfill the duty as practitioners in the Fa-rectification period.
