Lure of Money Encourages Police to Abuse Dafa Practitioners in Forced Labor Camps
Written on Oct. 18, 2003 (Clearwisdom.Net) Information from one of the forced labor camps in China indicates that
Jiang's regime will reward a policeman 500 Yuan* if he or she arrests a Falun
Gong practitioner. If jail guards successfully brainwash a practitioner, they
will be awarded 1,000 Yuan, but will be fined 3,000 Yuan if he or she
"bounces back" within six months. As a result of this policy, guards fiercely beat any practitioner returning
to the labor camp who has written a solemn statement pledging to continue their
practice. They are deprived of sleep for over ten days in order to force them to
yield. It is Jiang's evil mind that has conceived the idea of linking the
outcome of the brainwashing with the officer's bonus. Under such vicious circumstances, the Falun Gong practitioners within the
camp are still validating the Fa and clarifying the truth. They have even
changed some of the officers' attitudes. The brainwashing has no effect on those who firmly adhere to Falun Dafa. Even
the group leader said, "They are unable to brainwash you because their
realm is not as high as yours." About eighty percent of the officers with college degrees have already left
the camp. Some changed their career and some even quit. At the time the officers
left their job, they told the jailed practitioners, "We have been here in
the forced labor camp for too long. It has made us vicious, far from
compassionate." The forced labor camp consists of 6 teams, of which each has 130 to 140
prisoners. * Yuan is the Chinese currency. The average monthly salary of an urban
worker in China is 500 Yuan. |
