Teacher Cured My Diseases: The Cultivation Story of a Sixteen-Year-Old Disciple

I am a sixteen years old middle school student and will soon take my high school entrance exam. On June 29, 1997, I was lucky to obtain Dafa [great law and universal principle] with the members of my grandmother's family. It is our great Teacher who has given me a healthy body. Before I cultivated Dafa, each time there was any kind of epidemic going around, I would get sick. No matter what disease I got, injections would never work, and I had to take transfusions. Besides many common diseases, I developed a terrible case of psoriasis.

From the fourth grade in elementary school, I lived in my grandmother's home. Under the influence of her family members, belief in Buddha and respect for Buddha were seeded in my little soul. Like adults, I often burned incense for Buddha and recited "Great Mercifulness Incantations," etc. I thought this was just showing respect for Buddha and I could have Buddha's blessing. Every time when my family members went out, I always kowtowed in front of the Buddha stature and piously burned incense for Buddha to bless and keep them safe! I thought this was all part of believing in Buddha. After I read Zhuan Falun (Turning the Law Wheel), I understood the shallowness of all this.

Before I learned the Fa [law and principle], in order to cure my psoriasis, I took all kinds of medicine such as Chinese traditional medicine, Western medicine, and folk prescriptions. The external use medicine made me look and feel like a person dipped in oil. I itched all over and was also in a lot of pain. I could not eat any foods that irritated psoriasis. I could not even wear good clothes. At that time, one day seemed like a year. It seemed better to die than to live.

Whenever my grandmother heard that someone could cure psoriasis somewhere, she would take me to see him. I went to many places, such as the dermatosis research institute, a hospital specializing in psoriasis, private clinics, specialists in curing psoriasis and so on. I took so many health foods. After spending over ten thousand Yuan RMB, the disease was still incurable.

When the members of my grandmother's family and I obtained the Fa, we practiced this cultivation way without having any attachments. Once we heard from an elderly lady that Falun Dafa is a genuine cultivation practice, all of us entered this cultivation way.

At the beginning, although I studied the Fa every day and went to the park to attend group practice in the morning, I did not understand the Fa deeply. Later on, through studying the Fa, I realized that cultivation practice is serious and I must give up my attachments. The bodies of genuine practitioners will be purified. Teacher said: "I do not talk about healing illness here, nor will we heal illness. As a genuine practitioner, however, you cannot practice cultivation with an ill body. I will purify your body. The body purification will be done only for those who come to truly learn the practice and the Fa. We emphasize one point: If you cannot relinquish the attachment or concern for illness, we cannot do anything and will be unable to help you." (Zhuan Falun) I realized that upgrading xinxing [mind nature] is the key to the elevation of our level, and only by reading Zhuan Falun continuously can we truly progress in our cultivation. Teacher said: "In the past, whether people practiced qigong in parks or at home, they did it with much effort and dedication, and they practiced quite well. Once they stepped out the door, they would act differently and go their own way, competing and fighting with others for fame and profit among everyday people. How could they increase cultivation energy? It could not increase at all, and for the same reason neither would their illnesses be healed. Why can't some people cure their illnesses after a long period of practice? Qigong is cultivation practice and something supernormal, as opposed to everyday people's physical exercises. One must focus on xinxing in order to cure illness or increase cultivation energy." (Zhuan Falun) I remember Teacher's words well. I gave up being rowdy with classmates in the corridor between classes. Sometimes, the desks and chairs of my class were broken. I quietly repaired them of my own accord. I wanted to become a genuine disciple of Teacher and require myself to live according to Zhen-Shan-Ren (Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance), the highest criterion. By becoming a good person at the start, I would become a better person in time.

With the improvement of my xinxing, my body began to be purified. At the beginning of my body purification, the psoriasis spread all over. The diameter of the largest eruption was six centimeters, and severe places became morsel size. It was even inside of my ears. When I got up in the morning, white patches of skin flakes were all over the bedspread. Anyone with psoriasis always itches very much all over. However, I did not itch at all and my face and hands did not have psoriasis. I knew what Teacher was doing for me. If my body had felt itchy, I could have not gone to school. If my face had had psoriasis, all of my classmates would not come near me and would laugh at me. Therefore, my classmates did not know I had psoriasis. I studied the Fa and practiced more. At that time, I could sit 80 minutes in the full lotus position. I constantly upgraded my xinxing and searched inside myself for everything. I truly treated myself as a genuine practitioner.

On November 1, 1997, I stopped taking medicine. In the following several days, I felt my body being purified. I always kept studying the Fa and practicing. On November 20, a miracle appeared. In the morning, when I washed my face, I found the psoriasis of my scalp had disappeared. There was not a single white patch of skin on the pillow. I knew that it was Teacher who drove my psoriasis away. The appreciation in my heart for Teacher was difficult to express in language. On the second day, the psoriasis on my chest disappeared. In this way, a section of psoriasis a day disappeared. On December 13, 1997 (the 24th day), the psoriasis completely disappeared. I knew it was Teacher who eliminated it. I was delighted to tears. I called my parents and everyone I knew in a hurry. When my parents received my call, they came to my grandmother's home. Both of them said Falun Gong is very supernatural. From then on, my mother walked the road of cultivation practice. Because of too many attachments, my father did not cultivate and practice; however, whenever he met somebody, he told them Falun Dafa is good and Falun Gong is very supernatural. As of June 29^th of this year, I will have been practicing cultivation for four years. Since November 1, 1997, I have not taken any medicine or injections. I do not have psoriasis any more.

One may ask nowadays which expert, doctor, or scientist anywhere in the world can cure psoriasis completely. Right now, I am 1.8 meters tall. Not only do I have a healthy body, but also I have beautiful and clear facial features. Plus, I am a good teenager with lofty morals! I get all of this from Dafa cultivation practice, so Falun Dafa is very true and not false!
