October 14, 2003

(Clearwisdom.net) On March 8, 2001, I was distributing truth-clarifying materials in a nearby county. Six police officers abducted three of our female practitioners. They slapped one practitioner on her face 5-6 times during the arrest. We were illegally detained in a detention center. The police body-searched us. They took away our towels and tooth brushes that we brought with us, and then they pushed us into a jail cell. It was dark and dirty in the cell. A straw mat was worn out, like a net. The toilet was in the same room. There was no water to flush it. The smell was terrible in the cell, with maggots everywhere. There was no water supply in the cell.

The second day I started a hunger strike. The police said, "If you refuse to eat, starve yourself to death, we will then pour gasoline on your body and burn you up. We will not have any responsibility for your death." The seventh day when they wanted me to move to a different cell, the head of the detention center chastised me that I moved too slowly. He pulled my arm and threw me on the ground, and kicked me several times on my back and my hip. Then he hit me over twenty times with a broom handle.

Policeman Yao, who often interrogated me, hit me in the head every time he interrogated me.

When I was on the twelfth day of the hunger strike, more than 20 police officers came to get me. Some said, "Let's shoot her." Others said, "Tie her up and hang her." They tied me to a chair with nylon rope. Then they tied me together with the chair to a tree. They forcibly injected things into me. I was later sentenced to forced labor for one and half years.

On July 13, 2001, the police handcuffed me and sent me to a female labor camp. They searched my body and cut my hair as soon as I arrived at the camp. Then they forced me to stand under the scorching sun, stark naked, for over an hour before they allowed me to put my clothes back on. Later they assigned me to the Seventh Team. There were ten teams in the camp altogether. Every team had about 150 to 200 people, on average. Besides work, we were forced to view a video full of lies and to read the materials they fabricated. We were forced to join the "criticism meetings" and so on.

Many Dafa practitioners refused the "transformation," as the brutal torture failed to scare them. I saw that one Dafa practitioner in her twenties shouted out "Falun Dafa is good" and police officer Zhang forced a broom used for sweeping excrement into her mouth. Some were punished with standing or squatting under the scorching sun for the whole day; others were cuffed with their arms around a tree. Now the police used an even more cruel method; they cuffed Dafa practitioners' hands with their arms around a tree behind their backs.

We were not allowed to go the bathroom if it was not during mealtime. Some could not hold it and went to the bathroom in their pants. The police made them take off their clothes to wipe the floor. Some had swollen feet from the extended physical punishment of standing, with abscesses and broken skin oozing blood.

I was released on March 6, 2002 and rejoined the powerful current of Fa-rectification.

At the midnight of September 6, 2002, over a dozen police with four police vehicles raided the place where we lived. They searched and ransacked our Dafa materials production center, took away our clothes and personal belongings, and our covers and blankets. We were cuffed and taken to the police department in our shorts and slippers.

To prevent Dafa practitioners from shouting, they stripped off T-shirts from a male practitioner to stuff into our mouths. The male practitioner was beaten and kicked, and lost consciousness several times. In the morning of the second day, past 5:00 a.m., police locked us in a detention center. The male practitioners were beaten and kicked again, simply because they did not say "report" when entering the door. One practitioner was beaten and lost consciousness. The female practitioners shouted, "Stop beating people! Good deeds will be rewarded, and evil deeds will receive retribution." One policeman replied, "I have beaten over 70 of your people, and I have not gotten any retribution!"

On September 8th when I saw five policemen forcefully carrying practitioner Cen to a "dead person's bed" (a metal bed used for torture), I shouted, "Stop hurting people!" Policewoman Zeng (in her 30s) ran into my cell and slapped my face over a dozen times, and forced my slipper into my mouth. Several police then forced my arms behind my back and dragged me to the yard, kicking and beating me. When they dragged me back to my cell I could not straighten my back and could not stand up. In spite of my injuries, they still interrogated me again in the afternoon. The interrogation lasted for a long time and they did not give me any food, so I did not eat. The second day, a police officer asked me, "Do you want to eat? You have to eat even if you don't want to." Several of them pressed down my hands and feet and plugged my nose. With a pair of pointed nose pliers they pried open my teeth. They forced porridge cooked with hot pepper into my mouth with a metal spoon. I had to swallow a mouthful when I had to take a breath. It was salty and spicy. The feeling was terrible! I spit out some of the porridge, but the rest was forced into my stomach. In the following several days, my tongue and my mouth were numb and my teeth were loose. It hurt even to take a drink of water. I had difficulty opening my mouth, felt weak, and had diarrhea.

On September 12, the police pulled me out of the cell into a car, put handcuffs on me, and also a black hood that covered up my head and face. After about ten minutes of driving, they took me out of the car. They kept the cover on me until we entered a door after a long walk. I realized this was a secret place designated for interrogation of Dafa practitioners. They asked me questions such as, "who made the truth-clarification material; where did the funding come from; who was in charge; where did you buy paper supplies"? I did not answer any of their questions. They tied my hands behind me with a thin nylon string and hung me up, with my feet off the ground. After more than an hour of hanging, my hands and feet felt numb. Soon I lost all feeling in my limbs. Sweat poured from my forehead and hair, and dropped on the floor, making a puddle. I could hear my teeth grinding from pain and had difficulty breathing. Then I completely lost consciousness. I did not know when I was taken down. Later, I felt someone was pushing my mouth and chest, moving my arms, and heard a voice, "Be careful! Normally when we have a couple of them here, it was easy to cover it up even if one or two died. This time we got a dozen here. It might be difficult to stop the news from leaking." I could not open my eyes, no matter how hard I tried.

Once I regained consciousness, the police threatened me, "If you still don't tell us, we will hang you even higher and tighter." While they cursed me during the interrogation, I tried to tell them about the facts about Falun Gong. Finally they sent me back to the detention center at about 8:00 p.m.

At about 2:00 p.m. on January 16, 2003, three of us practitioners were told that we were released. We believed them and gave our change of clothes and our bedding away to other inmates. When I asked the policemen to return my watch that they took away when I came in, they refused, saying they never took it.

Though they said we were released, the three of us was forced onto a train under the custody of four male and two female police officers. On the train, a police announced that we were all sentenced to forced labor; my term was two years. I questioned them, "Why didn't you announce the sentence in a court? You duped us, telling us that we were released and then secretly announced our sentence here on a train. The labor camp will not take me, even if you send me there." I sent forth righteous thoughts and recited Master's articles the whole time on the train.

We arrived at the labor camp the next day. After a medical exam, the labor camp refused to take me, saying that I had high blood pressure and heart problems. Three of the six police officers went in, trying to convince the labor camp to take me, while the other three were watching me. After two hours of arguments, they did not succeed. On our way back, as an act of revenge, they did not let me eat or use the rest room. They cursed me all the way back and handcuffed me also. I took the opportunity to tell them the facts again. The next day we went back to the city police department. Then I was sent to a local police precinct and later detained at a detention center in a neighboring county for over 20 days.

The evildoers made such a great effort to persecute a weak and old farmer like me. It is not hard to imagine how much money, effort and people they are expending to persecute all of the good citizens that exercise the belief system based on "Truth, Benevolence, Forbearance."
