Conversations with Police Agents

Police Agent Y in our city (Section Chief of the Public Security Branch Bureau) persecuted Dafa disciples. He later got ill and was hospitalized. After they learned this, two Dafa practitioners went to the hospital to see him. They asked the police agent, "Tell us, what benefit can you get from persecuting Falun Gong practitioners?" Y answered, "Absolutely none." All the other patients in the same room looked at them curiously. The two practitioners then explained to them, "Police Agent Y is one of those who persecutes Falun Gong and we are Falun Gong practitioners." Y said, "They are very capable of touching people's hearts. Everyone be careful." The patients said, "We think what they just said really makes sense." Y said, "I know that Falun Gong is good, too. I never cursed Falun Gong or beat practitioners in the past. I was just doing my job as assigned by those above me." The practitioners said to Y, "After you've recovered, please do not persecute Falun Gong any more." Y said, "I am already on the list of criminal persecutors." The practitioners said, "We think you still have hope of being saved. Just keep saying 'Falun Dafa is good'!" Y answered, "I understand." Before they left, Y said, "Thank you both."

One friend just came back from a business trip to China. He mentioned some of the conversations that he heard among Chinese police agents while he was there.

1. When Jiang started the persecution of Falun Gong, he thought he could get rid of Falun Gong within one month. But who would have anticipated even after 4 years they are still out there and getting stronger even as the persecution is getting worse? Jiang is in an awkward situation now. He is afraid to give up his power because he thinks Falun Gong will come to get him in order to settle old scores.
2. "In fact they all know that Falun Gong cannot be destroyed. What's more, the Falun Gong issue is going to be redressed. So nowadays their attitude towards Falun Gong practitioners is that they try not to be too harsh on them. If they can release them, they will. They respect a lot of those highly determined practitioners with higher education backgrounds. They call them the 'real Falun Gong.' In fact they know very well that the successful cases of them 'transforming' practitioners to give up their belief are done only by means of information blockade and brainwashing. As soon as those people learn the truth and find out what is going on in the outside world, they come back to Falun Gong again."
