Practitioner Ms. Zhang Xuefeng from Jilin City Forced to Endure an Illegal Show Trial on October 22, 2003

Practitioner Ms. Zhang Xuefeng, 28, from Jilin City, has a community college degree and worked for Zhenjian law office in Jilin City. She was illegally detained in the No. 3 detention center on May 23, 2003 for practicing Falun Dafa, and was illegally arrested and transferred to the No. 1 detention center on June 13.

Because she did not cooperate with the intolerable demands, and clarified the truth about the persecution within the detention center, the prisoners, under orders from policemen, beat her. She has not been allowed to see her family for over four months. The "610 Office"* refused the district and city courts' decisions to not prosecute her on more than one occasion.

On October 22, 2003, the district court put her on trial. We hope that practitioners help to send forth righteous thoughts to stop the evil factors in other dimensions that are influencing this horrid event.

Another practitioner, Mr. Liu Yuchen, 24, is from Jilin City. In 1999 he enrolled in Jinlin Chemical engineering college. He was illegally detained in May 2003, and arrested and sent to the No. 1 detention center in Jilin City in June 2003 because he browsed Falun Dafa web sites. During the detention period, due to his non-cooperation with the unconscionable demands of his captors, he was intentionally given a false diagnosis of mental illness. He was taken to a mental hospital to be injected with brain-numbing medicine. This persecution has harmed a conscientious and diligent graduate student. His family members have received no information about him from the authorities.
