Tokyo, Japan: Falun Gong Practitioners Hold a Symbolic Public Trial of Jiang to Expose Inhumane Persecution (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net October 4, 2003) On September 30, 2003, Japan Falun Gong practitioners held a symbolic public trial of Jiang to expose his crime on inhumane persecution of Falun Gong. The event attracted many tourists and passers-by. Two media came to cover the event.

At 3:00 p.m., the public trial started. Public prosecutor narrated the facts and cases of the persecution against Japanese Falun Gong practitioners and their relatives in China. Three witnesses appeared in court to testify and narrated the illegal imprisonment and brutal torture that they and their relatives suffered in China for practicing Falun Gong. The witness Wu Lili also played in public the record that her sister, Wu Xiaohua was tortured mentally and physically in a Chinese mental hospital. At the end, the judge made a solemn statement: based upon the witness and evidence, which are true after verification, the judge rules that Jiang has committed crimes against humanity, genocide and torture.

Before and after the symbolic public trial, Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the five-set exercises to public. In the evening, movies of "Grand Trial," "The Peaceful Journey of Falun Gong," and "The Facts of Staged Self-Immolation" were shown.

After this symbolic public trial, more people came to know the facts of the persecution. We call on people with justice in all circles of society to help us end the persecution against Falun Gong and bring Jiang to justice of morality, conscience, and law.
