750 Yuan Sent by Jailed Practitioners

With tears in her eyes, a practitioner told me a true story about Dafa practitioners in jail who assisted Teacher in the Fa-rectification in saving people, even though they have been tortured ruthlessly both physically and mentally, and even though they have to subsist on extremely poor food. Despite these conditions the practitioners saved 750 Yuan,* and passed it from within the jail to the Falun Gong material production site on the outside. It had to pass through a few people's hands. The message:

"At present, we are unable to clarify the truth about Falun Gong outside of the prison. This 750 Yuan represents our hearts! Please use it to save people!"

Seeing her tearful eyes, my heart was touched and these thoughts entered my mind:

Do we always firmly remember the historic mission of the Fa-rectification period Dafa disciples? How much effort do we put into assisting Teacher in Fa-rectification and in saving people? Do we value every penny another practitioner gives us? Do we make the best use of it, and thus achieve the great sacred purpose? Do we carry out the promises of our own sacred responsibilities and have we earned our brethrens trust? Did the steadfastness of a great-enlightened being fade because of many attachments, such as the "taking it easy" attachment? When this period of history comes to an end, can we say without shame: "I made the greatest effort to be diligent."

Master and the heavenly Gods, Buddhas, and Daos are observing every movement we make and every thought we have. So let us strive diligently forward together during this last stretch before the Fa rectifies the human world.

* Yuan is the Chinese currency. The average monthly salary of an urban worker in China is 500 Yuan.
