Laixi, Shandong Dafa Practitioner Zhu Lixing Is Illegally Imprisoned, Her Five-Year-Old Child Is Left Without his Mother

Zhu Lixing was the Laixi Falun Gong Volunteer Assistance Center's vice coordinator. In February 2002, she was arrested while she was distributing materials to raise awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was abducted by policemen from the Laixi Police Station and sent to the Qingdao Dashan prison, where she was illegally held for a month. Afterwards, she was transferred to the Qingdao "610 Office" [An agency specifically created to persecuteáFalun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems], where she was forced to undergo brainwashing.

She was imprisoned for six months. During this time, she was forced to watch brainwashing tapes every day and go to brainwashing sessions. On one occasion, other Dafa practitioners passed Dafa reading materials to her, which were discovered by Security Section Chief Hu Jun while he searched the cell. The Qingdao "610 Office" policemen didn't let her sleep for 24 hrs, and asked for the source of the Dafa materials. However, they didn't get any answer. During the six months of illegal imprisonment, the Qingdao "610 Office" policemen exhausted themselves trying to come up with ways to make her give up practicing Dafa. When her 5-year-old child went to visit her, the sad scene was unbearable to witness. Even in this kind of situation, the Qingdao "610 Office" continued to torture Zhu Lixing. On September 30, 2002, she was transferred to the Zibo Village Forced Labor Camp, where she was to be illegally held for three years. On the same day, Qingdao Dafa practitioner Wang Lanxiong was also sent to the same camp.

The policemen said that if Zhu Lixing does not "change," she will be sentenced to prison after she serves her sentence in the labor camp. Originally, the police wanted to abduct Zhu Lixing's husband and also take him to the Qingdao "610 Office," however, around that time, they had already abducted more than ten Dafa practitioners from other parts of Qingdao. They were too busy and had to give up the idea of taking him away. Right now, Zhu Lixing's 5-year-old child is not being cared for by his mother. The child's grandmother could not take care of him because of her own illness.

Zhu Lixing's workplace spent more than ten thousand yuan to hire two assistants to take turns closely monitoring Zhu Lixing.
