Gong Practitioners by Force Beginning in October 2003, Jiang Zemin's followers issued secret documents,
ordering the utilization of any type of method that would reform steadfast Falun
practitioners that are being detained in prisons. Such methods are at this time
in full use in those prisons. There are hundreds of practitioners illegally
detained in Liaoning Province because they wouldn't cave in under this pressure.
They are now suffering inhuman torture. They are isolated, denied sleep, denied
the use of the bathroom, forced to sit straight for long periods of time, strung
up by their arms and feet dangling in the air, suffering electric torture,
wearing heavy shackles, being kept in narrow confinement, or tied up on a metal
bed for extended periods of time. The lives of many practitioners are in danger,
and yet they are denied medical attention. "Give in or get nothing." This is how
the police explain their cruel torture. 2. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Harbin Women's Prison Tortures Dafa
Practitioners Through Heavy Forced Labor Practitioners illegally detained at Harbin Women's Prison in Heilongjiang
Province are forced to work 19 hours, from 5 a.m. to 12 a.m. A 60-year-old lady
from Daqing City was severely beaten because she refused to give up practicing
Falun Gong. She was unable to walk for more than two months. 3. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Mr. Li Chenyang Is Still
Illegally Detained Mr. Li Chenyang, nearly 40 years old, is a practitioner from Nangang
District, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province. He has a Master's Degree in
Computer Science. He was employed at the Bank of China in Heilongjiang Province.
He has been imprisoned twice at the Nangang District Detention Center simply for
practicing Falun Gong. After his release from the detention center in September
of 2000, he was forced to become homeless to avoid further persecution. In June 2001, Li was arrested in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, and was held in a
local labor camp for a year. Since he refused to give up practicing Falun Gong,
his term was extended for another year. He was transferred to the labor camp in
Xuchang City in Henan Province. On June 19, 2003, his illegal prison term had
expired. On June 21, 2003, the local police and people from his work place took
him back to Harbin. They refused to release him and did not allow his family to
visit him. They detained him at the Nangang District Detention Center again. On
September 16, 2003, they sent him to Inner Mongolia without notifying his
family. He is still being detained there under the excuse of assessing his
condition. 4. [Ningguo City, Anhui Province] Female Practitioners Wang Minghui and An
Xiuli Are Illegally Arrested 5. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Several Practitioners Are Illegally
Arrested and Sentenced to Jail Ms. Gao Yanling, aged 39, is a practitioner from Benxi City, Liaoning
Province. The police arrested her at her home on October 22, 2003, at 8 p.m. Her
whereabouts are unknown. Mr. Li Xiangdong is a practitioner from Benxi City. The police arrested him
on October 16, 2003 at 7 a.m. His whereabouts are unknown. Practitioner Mr. Tian Xiaofei of Benxi City was illegally arrested by a group
of police led by Zhao Tonggang of the Guangming police station, Benxi City,
Pingshan District. He was severely tortured. He was sentenced and placed in the
third section of Huazi Prison in Liaoyang, Liaoning Province. Tian and two other
practitioners have been on hunger strike for over three months. The prison
forbids his family to visit him. 6. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Police Abduct and Torture Practitioner Mr. Li
Dezhong On the morning of October 31, 2003, at around 9 o'clock, policemen from the
Dehui City Wutai Town Police Station, Jilin Province, Zhang Zhongmin, Sun Yongfu,
their driver, Chen, and also the Party Secretary Zheng Zhongcai of Wutai Town
Lujiacun Village, arrested practitioner Li Dezhong in the corn field where he
was working. They took him to the town police station. According to a witness,
the head of the police station Mu Xiaojun, policemen Zhang Zhongmin, Sun Yongfu,
and Driver Chen, punched and kicked Li. Mu kicked Li in the face. Chen punched
and kicked Li in the head. Zhang kicked Li's leg and handcuffed him to a bed.
Later, they sent Li to the brainwashing class in Changchun Legal School. The
school didn't accept Li, so they took him to the Police Department in Dehui
City, where they forced him to write five different forms of repentance letters.
Otherwise, they said they would detain him. Li was forced to give in. He was set
free on that day but was fined 400 Chinese Yuan. [The average monthly income

Practitioners to Do Heavy Labor Practitioners who are detained in the Tuanhe Dispatching Center of Beijing
Women's Forced Labor Camp, Daxing County are forced to do heavy labor. They have
to work over 9 hours a day, each wrapping between 8,000 to 9,000 and sometimes
even as high as 10,000 pairs of chopsticks. They are forced to work 4 hours
without a break. They are not allowed to stand up, either. If they cannot meet
the quota, they will be reprimanded and receive reduced points. If they are
unable to complete the assignment, their prior work will be counted as null and
void. 8. [Pingdingshan City, Henan Province] Plot of the "610 Office" in Mine No.13
to Persecute Practitioners Fails Mine No. 13 of the Coal Mine Group in Pingdingshan City, Henan Province, set
up a "610 Office" [a bureau specifically created by the Chinese government
to persecute Falun Gong. It has absolute power over each level of administration
in the Party, as well as over the political and judiciary branches]. In
June of 2003, two practitioners were detained for brainwashing by the "610
Office" at the mine's hostel. The "610 Office" used a number of deceptive
methods, including threatening them with labor camp and jail, as well as
pressure from their families. But, all of this came to naught. The two steadfast

Persecute Practitioners Wang Hongkui, a policeman at the Boyujuan District Police Department of
Yingkou, Liaoning Province, has since July 20, 1999, closely followed the Jiang
regime's directive and has arrested many practitioners. Incomplete statistics
indicate that he initiated the arrest and jail sentence of ten practitioners,
placed twenty-eight practitioners in labor camps, and detained another
seventy-five practitioners, some of which he arrested several times. He pocketed
approximately 580,000 Chinese Yuan in fines from practitioners. Thirteen
practitioners became homeless to avoid further persecution. He even confiscated
the wooden doors and windows of three houses in lieu of a fine. Wang has taken
policemen to search practitioners' houses and confiscated Falun Gong books,
audio-cassettes, and players. They also destroyed two truth-clarifying material

Heilongjiang Province were illegally arrested on October 16, 2003. They are now
detained at Jidong Detention Center. 11. [Longan County, Guangxi Province] A Conversation Between a Practitioner
and A Policeman Several practitioners in Long'an County in Guangxi were arrested. They also
confiscated my Dafa books. Before the Chinese New Year of 2000, I went to the
Police Department in Long'an County to ask for my books back. The policeman
there said, "Are you from Nanning? [Nanning is capital of Guangxi Province]
He said, "Look how you got the other practitioners into trouble by giving them
the books." I said, "We are practicing to be good people. Take a look at our
books. They teach people to be good. " He said, "I won't. If you all become
good, we'll lose our jobs." 12. [Yidu City, Hubei Province] Practitioner Wei Shenghua Is Illegally
Sentenced to Forced Labor Camp Practitioner Wei Shenghua from Yidu City in Hubei Province is being detained
at Changyang Detention Center for mailing truth-clarifying material in Changyang.
On October 18, 2003, Wei was sentenced to one year in labor camp. 13. [Chongqing City] Practitioner Yu Dehui Is Illegally Sentenced Ms. Yu Dehui, a teacher at Changyuan High School in Rongchang County of
Chongqing City, Sichuan Province and practitioner Xiao, were arrested in April
of 2003. Ms. Yu was sentenced to a prison term and is detained at Yongchuan
Female Prison in Chongqing City. 14. [Anyue County, Sichuan Province] Police Abduct Practitioner Jing Changhui
Through Deception A man from Bi County Industrial Institute in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province,
claimed to be a practitioner. He said he had not read Master's scriptures and
articles from Clearwisdom.net since July 20, 1999, the beginning of the
persecution. Early in October of 2003, he won the trust of a new practitioner
named Jiang. Jiang and Jing Changhui were set up, as the police arrested them
when they delivered Dafa materials to this pretender. Jing Changhui is the high
school teacher in Yongqing of Anyue County, Sichuan Province. He is now detained
at Anyue County Detention Center. Police from Yongqing Police Station searched
his home but didn't find anything. They searched dozens of village households in
a rage and detained Jiang's wife, because they found Dafa books at her home. The
farmers and village officials all said that Jing Changhui was widely recognized
