Dafa Practitioner Wang Shaohua Suffers Persecution in the Shengli Oil Field

Mr. Wang Shaohua is a 39-year-old staff member of the Well Cementation Company of the Huanghe Well Drilling Corporation located in the Shengli Oil Field in Shandong Province.

Since July 20, 1999, the company has continuously attempted to brainwash him, but he firmly maintained his belief in Falun Dafa. In 2000, the directors of the company sent him to work in Xinjiang Autonomous Region [a remote area in northwest China]. After arriving in Xinjiang, Wang Shaohua was illegally detained by the local police for handing out truth-clarifying materials. He was sent back to Shandong Province in January 2001 and was isolated within the company to be brainwashed.

During this period of forced brainwashing, Wang's wife and his father-in-law Liu Qingjin, who is the Party Secretary of the Huanghe Well Drilling Corporation, exerted heavy pressure on him, threatening him with issues of marriage, family and children, but Wang Shaohua remained steadfast. As a result, a family was then broken up.

Failing to brainwash Wang Shaohua, under the direction of the "610 Office"* of the Oil Field, the company sent him to the notorious Wangcui Forced Labor Camp of Shandong Province to continue the persecution against him. But soon Wang Shaohua escaped from the labor camp. He had to live destitute and away from home to avoid being detained again.

On October 25, 2003, the company sent someone to illegally arrest him from his hometown in Jiangsu Province and they brought him back to the company. Now he is illegally detained in the brainwashing class of Shengli Oil Extraction Factory of the Shengli Oil Field.
