By a Dafa practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom.net) As the Fa-rectification process advances, Chinese people are coming to know more and more of the truth about Dafa, and it is more and more difficult for the evil to survive. In many areas where the truth-clarification work is going well, many Dafa practitioners have been unconditionally released.

However, in the meantime, in some areas, brainwashing sessions are still being held on a large scale. Recently, various CCP central departments, including the "610 Office" [a bureau specifically created by the Chinese government to persecute Falun Gong. It has absolute power over each level of administration in the Party, as well as over the political and judiciary branches], sent a joint document regarding Falun Gong. It claims that they plan to "completely wipe out Falun Gong" by the end of this year. It has put forth detailed procedures and measures, including requiring all workers to write articles criticizing Falun Gong. How should we understand this phenomenon?

On the one hand, in areas where most of the environment has been rectified, practitioners have persistently studied the Fa and have had a firm belief in Teacher rectifying the Fa and a conscious understanding of practitioners' cultivation in the Fa-rectification. They could do well on the three things required by Teacher. Wherever there is persecution, they could actively counteract it by going to clarify the facts to the related people and departments. On the other hand, although the old forces have been completely eliminated, the remaining behind-the-scenes helpers of the old forces have yet to give up what they wanted to do. When manifesting in the human world, Jiang's regime doesn't want to be defeated like this and is struggling to the end.

There is another important factor: as Fa-rectification is coming to the end of the final stage, there are still some practitioners who have not met the standard. Some of them have not been able to fully understand Fa-rectification and cultivation in Fa-rectification; some of them have been holding on to their human notions and attachments including fear; some of them stumbled in their cultivation by writing statements renouncing Falun Gong. They need an opportunity to make up their losses and catch up. Therefore they need to be proactive and cannot live a peaceful life.

How should we face the continued persecution by the remaining evil? We have three precious things that Teacher told us about: studying the Fa and upgrading our Xinxing [the nature of the mind and the heart, moral character], sending forth righteous thoughts, and clarifying the truth.
